Either little Elisabeth Marie was in a hurry to get out or Leopold was in a hurry to... see Giselas petticoat ?
Was Madeleine pregnant on the wedding day or was Leonore born early? I thought she was due the first week of March. (As a comparison, my paternal grandparents got married on September 6th '47 and my uncle was born on May 6th '48, exactly 8 months after the wedding. For the longest time I thought my grandma was a month pregnant when she got married, but when I asked my dad about it, he said "No, Uncle Bill was premature.")

It was most likely a honeymoon child. For the child to be born at 9 months and still be conceived prior (in the few days leading up) to the wedding, she must have been overdue by about 1 1/2 weeks to 2 weeks. That combination of circumstances seems highly unlikely.I don't know excactly. Both can be: Leonore was born premature or Madeleine was pregnant at the wedding.

Claire and Felix of Luxemburg:
Married: 13.09. 2013
First Child: Amalia 15.06. 2014
9 Month 2 days.
Here the same: Was the bride pregnant at the time of the wedding or was it a honey-moon child or was it born premature ?
Second Child: Liam 28.11. 2016
Depending on the length of the honeymoon, she may not have even been a honeymoon baby.
If she was born on her due date, the range for intercourse and conception is September 19-29. Even at the earliest end of that spectrum her conception was a week after the wedding. Certainly not a pre-wedding baby.

If the baby was conceived on their wedding night, the due date would have been more then a week earlier. It would have been around June 6.
Except that Amalia was born on the 15th, not the 20th and the wedding took place on the 17th (religious wedding on the 21st); so the 'most probable days' are exactly the week from civil wedding until 1 week after civil wedding.
