Maybe he's carrying those things for his wife, who was getting into the car
Maybe it's like when you leave hospital you are escorted out in a wheelchair so that while you are on the hospitals grounds nothing happens to you and you can't sue them??Anna_R said:Why didn't Pavlos or Marie-Chantal carried the baby out of the hospital?
She did seem quite tired!!!Guess Who said:Well, maybe she is tired from child birth or she did carry him till the hospital door than gave the baby to the nurse while she was getting into the car.Obviously she can carry the baby and hop in2 the car.
I don't know... I just said that she looked tired!! but it is quite strange that a nusre carried the baby...moosey60 said:...I doubt that being tired (esp. a week after the birth) would prevent a new mother (or father) from having the joy of carrying her little baby from the hospital...even if it's only to the car. Look at Diana, Mathilde, Alexandra, Claire, etc. They all did it. Why would Marie-Chantal prefer for a nurse to do it? And why wouldn't Pavlos do it? I doubt it's a new policy for a nurse to carry a baby out...very strange.
There weren't any complications during the birth, were there?? Yes, it is very strange, even more whem comparing with the first three children. I mean, we can't really see the baby in the pics...kil said:If you remember Paul & MC carried Maria-Olympia, Constantin & Achilleas out from the hospital
That's quite strange, that for this one they didn't announce officially the birth , they don't show pictures (whereas for their first kids they did .... ) that strange
Well, giving birth isn't exactly a walk in the park so no wonder Marie-Chantal looks tired. But it has been a week now ... and if she has a newborn baby she should get used to being tired.

I think Alexia's youngest daughter was christened in Greece, so maybe this baby will be cristhened in Greece too.HMQueenElizabethII said:Because their lovely son has just born so may be the christening will take place 4 or 5 months later. But i wonder where will the ceremony take place? In Greece?Or other place?Hope that a lot of Royals will attend.

irishchic5 said:As for Pavlos, maybe it was a very special issue of Vogue that couldn't be trusted to just anyone?
I don't think nurses are required to carry babies out directly to the car in England, or at least not London. Helen Taylor, Sarah Chatto, Princess Diana, Sophie Wessex all carried out their babies (or their husbands did in Edward and Charles's case) on their own.samitude said:In the U.S. a nurse is required to go out to the vehicle with the mother in case something happens. I don't know if it's the same in England or not. Pavlos could have carried the baby out of the hospital and just handed him to the nurse to hold while he put the rest of the stuff in the vehicle. In this picture you can see him carrying a flower arrangement and what looks like a book so we know there was more stuff then just Vogue magazine.
Yes, but this is his fourth child!! Well, maybe some people are just scared to hold such small babies, no matter how many children they have.Ariel said:My personnal view is that she was not feeling that well from the csection, probably was in pain and Pavlos probably is one of those father that prefers not to carry their own babies when they are so small. It does not mean they are neglecting them, it just mean they feel fear to not handling them well. That is perfectly normal in most fathers.
