Grace, Caroline, Charlotte, Alexandra. . . it's all in the genes!

I guess most people will not agree with me, but that makes me wonder another thing - the thread says "Grace, Caroline, Charlotte, Alexandra. . . it's all in the genes!" where are Stephanie, Pauline and Camille? :bangin:

If anything, I think Pauline looks like a young Duchess of Cambridge

Yes I'd agree with you there,I was thinking the exact same thing & more so after I saw the photo's of Pauline with her mother and brother last week.

The thread is part of Princess Caroline and her family's subforum, that's why Stephanie and her daughters were originally not included. But as you can see there are three little dots following the names, that has always left an open space for further comparisons :flowers:

I've always said that Pauline resembles Kate Middleton to an uncanny degree. Glad I'm not alone in this observation. :)

It is all in the genes. The Grimaldi are a handsome looking bunch. Plus I've noticed all of grace Kelly's granddaughters look similar the girls are beautiful and the boys are handsome .

For me P.Caroline takes her looks after her grandmother P.Charlotte duchess of Valentinois, and her daughter Charlotte is a young version of her ;-)
Princess Stephanie I don't know, but I read somewhere she looks a lot like P.Grace's sister..(don't really know them..)

I've always thought that Caroline looks like Grace and Charlotte looks like Caroline.

I never thought this until I looked at older post in the thread entitled "Pictures of Charlotte Casiraghi from when she was a child", and saw a photo of Charlotte where she looked a lot like Princess Alexandra. Here's the photo:

In the book "Once upon a Time" there is a picture of prince Rainer with Albert (1981). I didn't even have to look at Stephanie's photos to see the striking resemblance.

I know this thread it about Caroline, Charlotte, Alex and Grace but I think that Princess Alexandra takes a lot from her paternal great-grandmother Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia

Stephanie in that picture looks like 20 miles of rough road. Her face shows all the sun and cigarettes. She was beautiful when she was young, but now she just looks haggard.

I hope Charlotte and Gad have a girl. Would like a mirror image of Grandma Grace.

Do not forget that Gad's genes will be get into also!
Personally i wish then a healthy baby and that she did the good choice.

No, he did not married his son's mother. But Gad is older now and might want to settle down with Charlotte. I hope for Princess Caroline that Gad wants to marry her daughter. They could have a civil ceremony so the child is legitimate.

I don't know...Neither Caroline nor Stephanie inherited their mother's fair hair and Irish coloring and no one can deny that Charlotte is nearly the splitting image of Princess Caroline. Both Caroline and Charlotte are exotic looking and more olive skinned, which obviously comes from the Grimaldi side. Throw Gad's Morrocan and French ancestry in the mix and my bet is the child whether male or female will have no resemblance to Princess Grace.

Think on the bright side because Grace did not have much hair and this baby will. But we maybe surprised as genes sometimes skip a generation
So u never know.

"Grace did not have much hair"?....really?

I am not sure we are discussing the same woman. The late Grace Kelly had very fine textured hair, but there was plenty of it!

Grace 's looks ? Grace 's genes have well faded away with her daughters, let alone with her great-grandchildren.

This would be her great-grandchild, right?:p
About the looks: And thank God! I mean, I like Grace but Caroline is way more beautiful than her and Stephanie is way more sympathetic.
(I used to think that Grace is more beautiful than Caroline until recently.)

Grace had this ethereal beauty! She was amazing. I have the impression that only Pierre's children, as long as he has it with Beatrice, will inherit those nice genes!

The kid will be gorgeous even if they inherit half of Charlotte's beauty and charm.

The genetics game is interesting, and does not always come out as expected, unless both parents are of very similar ethnic background. Without that similarity, anything goes!
You don't get Grace Kelly unless you breed blondes. I think Grace was part German on her mom's side, wasn't she? Albert certainly got her blondeness. My cousin was half Irish and half German. He looked so much like Albert when they were younger that I could hardly believe it, but in older age, Albert got plumper and Bob (my cousin) got thinner like his little mom, and then they did not look alike. Irish people are all sorts of shades, from blonde to dark, because they have had a mixed ethnic descent over the long years of history, including blonde Vikings and darker Sephardic Jews (like Gad?). This is not dreaming, it is not just myth.
