It is at my local library. I tried to get it but that issue is checked out at the moment. It is a very popular magazine.

I am thinking of a video that was on youtube. It was some press coverage from the GCT Rio. Some reporter was talking in Portuguese to Andrea Dellal. I'd love to hear from someone who knows the language. To me, it seemed like they were talking about Charlotte. The camera kept moving over to film Charlotte while Andrea talked to the reporter. Actually, it seemed like the reporter was trying to ask about Charlotte's relationship with Alex, and like Andrea was trying to say something nice, but non-committal. Andrea seemed embarrassed, but at the same time,amused, tickled I guess. She seemed to want to run away, actually. I think she was uncomfortable because the reporter was pressing her and she was afraid to say too much, too little, or just something wrong.
I would love the opinion of people who understand the language.

CT, I can grasp a little of Portuguese, but I don´t think they mention Alex at all. She says it was a well organized event, it didn´t rain forunately like it did last year. When asked about Charlotte, If she supported her in competitions, she cannot see her everywhere but here she supported her. Then they refer to this competition, because Andrea answers something like, the first jump was all right, in the second the horse didn´t want to junp. Of course a portuguese speaker my answer better.
 
You're right rosana, they don't mention Alex at all. the translation should be something like:

Andrea: I found the event to be very well organised and I'm happy it didn't rain because last year they had really bad luck (the organisation of the event she means)
journalist: And about the sport. Do you understand (the rules)?Have you learned when it's fault, etc?
A: A little bit. Each time I learn a bit more.
J: Do you follow Charlotte's competitions? Closely?
A: Not closely. It's impossible to watch everything because she's going everywhere/all over the world. But here, I always come to support her.
J: And do you feel nervous?
A: Yeah, a little bit. I'm afraid she falls because it happens, you know. It's part of the competition, it can happen. In the first jump she was all right, in the second, the horse didn't want to jump but it's part of the sport.
J: What is the first thing you do when you arrive in Brasil? Something you really miss?
A: yes, my tapioca (typical food from Brazil). You know that one with bijou? I make my own. No one knows how to do it as I like. I love it.
J: (she says something about her famous appartment that i cannot listen very well but i think she refers Andrea receives a a lot of people there and then she asks: Do you make any specific food there to everyone to enjoy?
A: I have a cook/maid that works with me for many, many years, Dona Maria. She makes the brazilian food, that we all love. It's delicious.

I notice that Andrea speaks a great portuguese (which is normal since she is brazilian) but sometimes she has problems to find the exact word in portuguese. Like if english comes more natural to her. For example, when she says she comes to support Charlotte, she says «support her» in english and also when she's talking about falling being part of the sport, she says «part of the sport» in english as well. It tends to happen more at the end of the sentence when she's concluding her discourse but also with more specific words: I notice at the end when she's refering to the woman who works for her, she says: Eu tenho uma m...cozinheira. I thing she was to say maid and then realizes the word in portuguese in cozinheira.

Thank you, ladies! It really seemed like she said something about Charlotte. I couldn't tell what. I thought maybe the journalist was impertinent. :lol:

It's interesting to see that Andrea stumbles a little with her Portuguese vocabulary. Being a native of Brazil, it would seem that she would have a natural grasp of the whole language. But I suppose all of her time in many other countries (I think the Dellals lived in South Africa for a time, then of course London) I guess she lost a little. English must have become so much easier for her from daily practice. Very surprising, but interesting.

She worries about Charlotte like a mother! How sweet. :)

Thank you for the digital magazine. I can muddle along a bit with reading most of the romance languages. french and spanish are a bit easier for me than the others. It's speaking and listening comprehension where I am hopeless. :(

Is it me, or is it almost weird to see her and Tatiana hanging out again?! I hope that's a good sign for their (once close) friendship, as well as her relationship with Andrea (if a romantic one still exists; if not, maybe just good friends).

Yes, it's kinda funny actually. But, i don't see them as close as they use to be. For example, in the last Chanel show, they were together, but, there was something off...in the pic they were photograph together, i mean. It's not like before.
Even we can see that in the video of show, they don't seem close. Same here. Maybe they are friends, just not best buds? I think Andrea and Tatiana are friends now. It's a theory i have.
 
Those last two are from the recent jumping in Geneva...it looks like it was very cold there :p

Mmm...the mistery of Tatiana and Andrea...
We can say that, if they are still a couple, at least they are not so sticked as they used too. I remember that every pic of Andrea i saw, was with Tatiana at his side.
Now, she is like very "independent" and goes everywhere without him.

Maybe Tatiana wants to push him finally to make a decision after some years of dating,she wants that they will get engaged,she was probably influenced by the recent royal engagements.

about those the last two pics from Geneva, I am loving her Gucci sneakers. They are so cute.

Who knows what is up with Tats and Andy.... Nat, your theory could be right. It makes sense, if they decided to cool off, that she would still be a good friend of all of the family because she has been like an Honorary Casiraghi for a long time. There was a time when Tatiana and Charlotte seemed to be like sisters and Caroline seemed to treat Tatiana like a real daughter.
 
Maybe Andrea is very busy with his new job and Tatiana went with Charlotte and Alex to Geneva because she has some relatives/friends there. (i hope they're still together, i love them as a couple).
 
And, don't forget, Charlotte and Tatiana were (reportedly) fiends, first - then, Char introduced Tatiana and Andrea....the rest was history, for a while - so, maybe Charlotte and Tatiana are working on getting their friendship back on track, since they appear to have drifted for a time. I think that Tatiana had a good relationship with the Casiraghi family - never seemed to "take advantage" of her relationship with Andrea or try to pull rank. If they are mending their friendship, maybe Charlotte invited Tatiana to join her and Alex, or maybe if Tatiana was already in Geneva with friends/family, she made a plan to meet up with Char and Alex at the competition. Either way, hopefully, it's good!

I saw that "Kye Niarchos" has some of the Casiraghis friends' added on facebook, i.e. Sara kristina Hannig and Gregoire Boitel (Rose Ball regulars) and, as Julliette pointed out, Ines Niarchos. (There seemed, initially, something familiar about a "Kyle Niarchos," not Kye, but Kyle. So I was curious about this Kye person.) But Kye also has the Pomeline-skyrock girl on his/her friends list. None of the children of the lat e Stavros Niarchos (died 1996) has a child named Kyle or Kye, as far as I can discover. Definitely not Philip or Spyros, and apparently neither Maria nor Elena. So I think Mache is right. It's just a fake, or fanciful (?) name. :D

This person showed up on my facebook requesting to be added to my Casiraghi fan group. I added him/her without a thought, but then I was like, oh no, what if that's some Niarchos cousin spying on the fan groups? I don't want the drama!~ :bang:
 
Yeah, you're probably right, it must be a fake name. But I wonder why friends of the Casiraghis, like Gregoire Boitel, would add him in fb?
 
What's up with some of their gang (Roitfelds, Winklers, etc) going to Miami :ohmy: for New Year's Eve/Winter break this year instead of the Islands?!
 
hahaha in the pass month i add Jean Thierry Bessins to my facebook and he accept me, so maybe that is the case of kyle Niarchos he add that people and they accept her:)
 
:lol: I also used to be somewhat cavalier about adding people I didn't know. But then a funny thing happened! I got really confused, and even by compartmentalizing all my friends in folders (i.e. high school, college, work, family, TRF:D, "Casiraghi fans";) etc.) I still was all messed up. So now I have a shockingly "low" number of facebook friends, and I look pretty pathetic, but I like it this way. It's cleaner.

A funny story: The Reverend at the spiritual center I like to attend is quite famous and when he set up his 1st fb account he added everyone who requested him, and he quickly got the 5000 limit, so he went and made another account, and that account quickly maxed out too, so finally someone advised him to make a page instead of another account, as the pages can have an unlimited # of fans. This happened to another spiritual guru I follow. And so it was for the fb founder himself, His Excellency the Zuck Master. I wish Charlotte and Andrea and Pierre would all do official fan pages. You know, that's really a good idea for them! Think about it. It would cut off all the fakes and give them control. They could have their private, discreet accounts for their inner circles, and have their fan pages for the adoring, pathetic masses. Clean, simple, compartmentalized, and best of all, their privacy unimpeded!
 
Charlotte's first boyfriend?

I just wanted to ask if anybody had seen certain pics or knows anything about a guy I think probably was Charlotte's 1st boyfriend. I'm not talking about that Hubertus the media made so much fuss about. That was nearly as absurd as when they pretended that 15 year old Charlotte had something going on with Thierry (for god's sake, the man could be his father!). Hubertus was way too old for a 15-16 year old as Charlotte was by them and all the crazyness came from a single pic where they were hugging fooling around (actually we saw more pics of them in the same close attitude a couple of years later, while Charlotte was going out with Felix).

When I say Char's 1st boyfriend I am talking about a misterious dark haired boy nodoby seems to remember.
All I know about it:
Charlotte was about 16 years old and I saw a magazine that had pictures of her in a jumping event. They were pics of her riding, and then some other pics were she was wearing street clothes (probably jeans) and she was sitting on a bench besides a dark haired guy. The pics were taken from behind, so that you could see partly her profile and very little of the boy's face, but he was slim, and more or less the same age than her. They were sitting quite close and the boy had a hand on Charlotte's thigh. And he hold it there in several pics so it wasn't just a momentary thing.
I mean. You can play around with male friends. Some times I kiss my male friends on the chick, or hug them, or they put an arm around my shoulders and it means nothing, these can be just friendly gestures. But a man does'nt put a hand on your thigh while sitting alone with you if there isn't something else between you two!

So, my question is: has any of you ever seen that pictures? Do you know what I am talking about and who that guy could be? All I remember is that he was young, looked around 16, like Char, slim and dark haired.
I know that some years ago, someone who said was a friend or knew Ernst's sons or something like that posted here a picture of a boy who looked like that, and was skiing with the Casiraghis in Zurs and I think that he said that the guy had been going out for Charlotte for a while.
I believed him when I read it because he posted a picture (obviously a private picture not a paparazzi one) of this guy with some casiraghi (I can't remember if it was Pierre or Charlotte, but I know that the pic was a close up and you could see his profile) and the mystery boy (he posted his name but I can't remember it) had the same physical type of the boy I had seeen on the bench pictures.
This second picture I am talking about was posted here. Do any of you know what I am talking about?
