Charles heads into the warzone: Prince of Wales arrives in Jordan at start of Middle East tour as country steps up strikes on ISIS | Daily Mail Online
Quote:
Prince Charles has arrived in the Middle East for a six-day tour that starts in Jordan - a country still in shock following the shocking murder of one of its pilots.

The Prince of Wales stepped from his chartered jet looking relaxed and was greeted by a small entourage that included Britain's ambassador to Jordan, Peter Millett.

Jordan as a nation is grieving after the brutal killing of 26-year-old Moaz al Kasasbeh by the Islamic State (ISIS) group.

In gruesome footage, the terrorist group filmed the Jordanian pilot being burnt alive.

According to the British Government who sent him - yes.

Charles didn't just decide to go but the trip, like all trips by royals, except for those for funerals, are arranged months in advance and with the approval of the government of the day so the British government feels this is the right time to send the heir to the British throne to the Middle East.

Knowing that there would have been a lot of planning etc going into this tour for months it would also be seen as an insult to the countries Charles is to visit for the tour to have been cancelled at this time - and insulting other countries isn't a good idea.

For those who are confused as to what constitutes Prince Charles being or acting politically, here it is for the world to see. HM's Government sending the heir to the throne, Charles, Prince of Wales, on an official visit to a pretty unstable part of the world to fly the flag for the UK.

HM's Government is well aware of his views and I sincerely doubt that he will take a public stand against anything not already discussed before the was sent on this tour. That he has started the tour by indicating that the UK has to deal with the problem of the radicalisation of young Muslims, is an indicator that the UK didn't send him there to tell them how to run their countries, but rather that they all have to own the the problems that are enabling the ISIS threat.
