Louis VII remains which were buried at Notre-Dame de Barbeau somehow escaped the attention of the Sansculottes in 1793 unlike the tombs of the abbots and nobles .
The abbey was ransacked and set on fire but the kings tomb and remains survived and taken to Saint-Denis by order of King Louis XVIII in 1817.

It was an Annulment in 1152 and not a Divorce.
Louis VII had the Archbishops of Bordeaux ,Sens,Reims and Rouen assist in the proceedings.
At first the Pope had try to reconcile the couple but in March 1152 ,Pppe Eugence granted an annulment.
Both daughters ,Alix and Constance remained legitimate but were to remain in France with their father the king.
