it works! Thank you so much! And thank you Norway
The German networks also geo-block drastically, I believe. I think we really need Europeanwide broadasting rights. We shall feel European but can't watch each others broadcastings... Pretty ironic that I can watch a Norwegian broadcast but not a Danish one

works brilliantly, thank you!
But that means us poor people abroad won´t be able to watch the banquet tonight... I presume NRK will not bring this, too?!
Apart from the greeks, have already the other foreign Royals been arriving in Copenhagen? Normally they stand on the smaller balconies of Amalienborg during the balcony appearance of the DRF and I haven´t spotted them so far.

Thank you sooo much and it was so nice not to have the commentary
That was such a lovely, happy event and you could tell that Prince Frederik was really touched by the love shown. And I have to say, Copenhagen was looking particularly lovely today especially with the sun shining on the water with the overhead shots

And Norway is outside the EU (although in the EEA), unlike Denmark.

Yes, thats what I meant - it's really absurd.
But it's not a Danish problem, there are so many public European broadcastings that you can not watch in other EU-countries. I am sure that there are good reasons for every case, but it's not easy to unterstand for the normal viewer and should change IMO. But maybe that'sa bit off topic.

Geoblocking will be lifted by 2019 I believe. Like the EU has forbidden roaming costs for tourists using their mobiles in other EU-countries. So improvements are on the way.
So in the near future we will have the chance to see royal events in Norway, Denmark, Netherlands etc without geoblocks.

Ah, that's great news, thank you I read about it, but forgot it right away obviously...
But I'm not sure about it's effect on broadcasting. From your link:
"Copyrighted content, audiovisual services and transport services are exempt from the Geo-blocking Regulation,..."
We will have to wait and see I guess.

A 20 minutes video summary of the balcony appearances from BB: https://www.billedbladet.dk/kongelig...aa-amalienborg
People sang the children's birthday song just prior to the family appearing on the balcony for the first time and when the family was on the balcony for the second time. Then people sang the national anthem.
The royal anthem was played during their first appearance.
BB will send live from the guests arriving.

NRK2 will show the whole DR1 broadcast (with Danish commentary) from 18:50 to 22:30, but they couldn't answer me (by phone) whether they will provide a live link, who works outside Norway.
What do I think? Well, they always does it for Norwegian royal events, but that's a completely different thing, since they produce it themselves.
But they did it for the balcony appearance (earlier today), they did it for the royal wedding last week, and they've done it for previous British, Danish and Swedish royal events, so hopefully they'll do it this time too.
One can also watch it on NRK's ordinary live links, but then you have to be in Norway.

Here is the entire balcony appearance from NRK (the DR broadcast without Danish commentary, that was due to an error BTW): Kronprins Frederik hilser folket fra balkongen på Amalienborg slott - NRK

Fairly certain I spotted multiple Greek family members in the windows of Christian VIII's Palace – including Queen Anne Marie. Was difficult for me to see though as I was standing in the other end of the courtyard.

Mood was great. There were so many people. It's a shame they block off almost 1/4 of the courtyard for the Life Guards because I'm fairly certain the entire courtyard would've been filled quite easily. People were happy and sang and cheered. Predominantly Danish and Greenlandic flags but I spotted Norwegian and Swedish flags as well The view of the royals is never that great from the courtyard (even if you've secured a place up front, they're still quite far away – but then, that's also not why I go, I can see them up close in pictures and videos when I get home) but from where I stood, Frederik seemed very overwhelmed by the sight and both Mary and QMII looked very proud.
To my side, someone were carrying a signs. On the back, it said "Frederik 4 Prez" and that was all I could see so I didn't think too much of it but then at some point near the end, they turned the sign around and on the side facing the balcony it said "Abolish the monarchy". When people around the sign realised what it said, they started booing and just a few moments later, someone pulled the sign down – that received a fairly large applause (don't know if it was a good idea to decide to protest the royal family amongst thousands of people who've taken time out of their Saturday to go celebrate said royal family)
