Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (b.24 November 1983) [son of Sheikh Mohammed (b.1949) & his main wife Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum (b.1962)] & his wife Sheikha Maryam bint Butti Al Maktoum had their second daughter, Latifa, on 11 January.

A sister for Hind (24-11-2020).

Count Joachim Douglas (b.1983) [eldest of three children and elder son of Count Wilhelm Douglas (b.1956) & his wife Marie-Louise, nee Werner (b.1952)] & his wife Estelle, nee Tham (b.1984) had their first child, Dorothea, in January.

His sister Wilhelmina (b.1985) & her husband Klaus Anders Ekesioo (b.1981) have two sons Ludwig (b.2014) & Leonard (b.2015).
His brother Jacob (b.1989) is single.

Little Dorothea is a bit special since both her parents are born members of the Swedish nobility. Without having any statistics to lean on I'd say that it's becoming increasingly uncommon for nobles to marry each other. For instance her father Joachim is the first Douglas of his line to marry a noblewoman in 4 generations.

Interesting...but it may be the common thing in most countries, unlike Germany and Austria where we still see a lot of noble/noble engagements/marriages.

Prince Hamzah bin Hussein of Jordan (b.29 March 1980) [oldest child together of late King Hussein I bin Talal of Jordan (1935-1999) & his fourth and last wife, Queen Noor, nee Lisa Halaby (b.1951)] & his wife Basmah, nee Bani Ahmad (b.4 January 1979) [daughter of Mahmoud Hassan Bani-Ahmad & his wife Halloul] had their sixth child together (his seventh), Muhammad, on 8 February.

They already have four daughters: Zein (3-11-2012), Noor (5-7-2014), Badiya (b.8-4-2016) & Nafisa (7-2-2018) and a son Hussein (8-11-2019); Prince Hamzah also has a daughter Haya (18-5-2007) by his first wife (and paternal second cousin), Princess Noor bint Assem (b.6 October 1982).
Haya also has two half-brothers - Talal (27-3-2019) & Abdullah (20-12-2020) -sons of her mum and her current husband Amr bin Farid bin Zidan (b.17 September 1974).

Simonne Alexandra Carter [nee Beresford], wife of Christopher Neil Carter, and scion of the Marquesses of Waterford, gave birth to a son, Rudolph Valentine, 5 April, 2022.

Christopher is the younger son of Mr Neil Carter, of Merton, co Oxford, and his wife Priscilla.

Simonne Carter is a daughter of Valentine Tristram de la Poer Beresford [born 10 Oct, 1965], of Dorchester, Dorset, by his wife the former Evelyne Hoskin.

The infant is a great-great-grandson of the 7th Marquess of Waterford [1901-34].
