Caroline's Husband 'Improving'

"PA"

Princess Caroline of Monaco’s German husband remained in intensive care in a principality hospital today but his condition is improving, the royal palace said.

He is reported to have come out of a coma.

Prince Ernst August of Hanover, 51, was taken to intensive care at Monaco’s Princess Grace Hospital last Tuesday, suffering from what his doctors said was an acute pancreas problem.

Caroline’s father, Prince Rainier, died the following day.

Oh !!!!!!! what a good news I hope that the prince will be better now !

RAINIER LEAVES VAST LEGACY TO CAROLINE

PRINCESS CAROLINE OF MONACO is set to inherit nearly $1.8 billion (GBP1 billion) from her deceased father PRINCE RAINIER.

News of the massive cash legacy broke as her husband, PRINCE ERNST AUGUST OF HANOVER, lay in a coma in the same hospital in which Prince Rainier died last week (6APR05).

The 51-year-old millionaire, a cousin of British royal QUEEN ELIZABETH II, is still critically ill with acute pancreatitis, due to his excessive drinking.

A palace official confirms, "His state of health is serious."

The other kids got nothing?

Difficult times for the wonderful Caroline...
I hope all gets better soon...

I think that the informations regarding Prince Raineier's will are mainly speculations, as nothing official has been or will be communicated...rumors that Stephanie might be getting less than Albert and Caroline have been around since her second marriage but it's difficult to say if they are true...

As for the car, that is Caroline's car, not Andrea's, and she's been driving it since she still lived in St. Remy; I'm pretty sure, as I saw it parked in front of her house in Monaco five years ago, when Andrea didn't have a driving licence yet, and I don't think they decided to buy another car identical to the one they already have...

Sending all my love to Caro and Ernst,
kisses

Good news that Ernst is out of coma. Even though his health is still precarious and serious. I hope he will recover for Caroline's sake.

If that report is true then it looks like Caroline will be getting a ginermous inheritance from Rainier. I do wonder what Caroline, Albert, and Stepahnie will actually get, ect. I guess we will have to wait for official word.

I've just saw news pics of Caroline driving a car in monaco in http://wwww.gotha.es.vg but I can't post it   .........maybe someone can post them for all members .

I can't found that pics...

Good to hear that Ernst is getting better :) Poor Caroline, my heart is with her.

There is a rumour that EA will be transferred to a specialist hospital in Hannover, Germany ... because its better than the Monaco place where he is currently "interred".

Probably, a case too, that with EA being German, his residence is in Germany, the medical assistance in Hannover is free-er, as opposed to paying to stay alive in Monaco.

I doubt that, if the Princess Grace Hospital is not a public institute, the Grimaldis (and their famililies) have to pay to be cured...I mean, they almost own Monaco... Plus I don't think if Ernst went to Germany he would go to a public place, or if so he would probably pay to have rooms of his own and some privacy. I think if he is transferred it will be moved to a specialized centre as opposed to a "generic" hospital (the equivalent of the Cardio-Thoracique Center, for his kind of sickness).
Anyway, I heard that his condition are still too serious to risk moving him...

I so hope he recovers soon, not only for him but for his family and Alexandra in particular,
kisses

I read in this week's issue of "Chi" that prince EA is suffering with an acute pancreatitis, as an after effect of a cirrhosis of the liver.

poor ernst. He went fell into the coma while Ranier was sick only to wake up and find out he passed away. He would have no recollection of it. Must be hard to find out you missed something like that. :(

I read in this week's issue of "Chi" that prince EA is suffering with an acute pancreatitis, as an after effect of a cirrhosis of the liver.

There have been so many different stories. Some said he has pancreatic cancer. And this is saying that he has acute pancreatitis caused by cirrhosis of the liver. I hope that his illness does not involve cancer or cirrhosis of the liver. Who knows? However it is obvious by his serious health [which resulted in a coma] that his problems of the pancreas are acute and/or chronic and will need care for the remainder of his life.

Troubles with the pancreas always have to be monitored even when one recovers. All Caroline can hope for is that he makes a full recovery, changes his lifestyle, and continues monitoring his pancreas in the future. He seems to be slowly improving. So maybe this will all happen.

I don't know how reliable the source is, but in the news I've just heard that Ernst is much better and might soon "come out" (don't remember the exact english word) from hospital...I really hope this is true;

Thanks for the info. This is good news for Caroline and her family. Now she has only has to deal with the funeral and grief about her father Rainier.

La stessa notizia è stata riportata ieri sera dal TG1 RAI. Perciò deve essere vero o pensi che il nostro notiziario più seguito abbia voglia, per così dire, di sputtanarsi? O no?
Bacioni.

I heard the same news on Italy' state run news programme TG1. Since this is the Government channel, what they said must be true.
Ciao belli
