mette marit took advantage of being in london to celebrate the birthday of prince pavlos. according to hola, they had dinner in soho's yauatcha restaurant. among other guests were liz hurley and her husband.

seemed like perfect timing for her and london! the visit to 100% norway coincided with pavlos birthday and madonna's comeback...

i seem to prefer longer hair for MM. i think now it makes her face look bigger and the whole look seems to me much more suited to a young girl.
i loved the dress, the colour is beautiful and it's a nice change from her usual style. the shoes are lovely, but i was never a fan of straps in the ankles (maxima type of shoes) as they shorten the legs considerably.

The suit is great but the shirt and the thick black stockings... what a shame. She loves those stockings, so I think we better get used to it, I don't think she is going to change it. Having said this, I really like her, she seems a very sympathetic lady.

Oh dear, oh dear, she has broken out the black opaque stockings already!!! 
And they go so well with the suit with the clown collar on it.
I love M.M., but this suit is just dreadful. Especially the way it hikes up on the side when she raises her arm to wave to the people.
But other than that, its good to see her out and about. She looks very happy.

I don't think the suit is all that bad, even with the frilly ruffles (not my style, though, it think ruffles can make anything look really matronly). It's just the fact that the jacket is so ill-fitting that makes it look so awful on her.
