The CP couple's Humanitarian Fund had a board meeting today, both Haakon and MM attended.

I'm happy MM was feeling well enough to participate!

(PS I've been lurking here for a long time, but I'm too shy and lazy to post...)

Hi, Tilda,
congratulations to your first post!!!!
It wasn´t THAT difficult, writing the first post, right :ROFLMAO::whistling:???

Regarding the FB page, I have seen the pics, especially the one where the couple is close together and is smiling broadly into the camera.
Maybe this is exactly the right answer from the Royal House to call all negativethinkers and badwishers "LIARS".

Nice they look natural and relaxed. Good to see.

Today, CP Haakon and CP Mette-Marit attended the Norad Conference 2013 (this year's theme is health and education) in Oslo, December 11, 2013. CP Mette-Marit led a conversation with the counselor Tore Godal for his lifelong contribution to global health.

When she left the conference she took time for a quick comment: "I feel better and for that I'm very grateful", she said to VG.
"I do not feel very mobile", she said to the audience, and admits that she was looking forward to the conference throughout the fall.

I think constantly sitting for about 1,5 hours during the award ceremony might have been too much of a strain!
I don´t care about shoe-colours :ermm: as I´m sooooo happy to see the CPcss so well again! I can only agree with Mette-Marit when she said earlier this year that there´s something very wrong when people only seem to be interested in what she wears while the real important issues remain largely unnoticed!!!

Lovely to see her out and on duty again. You know, as fair skinned as HRH is, it's been awhile since we've seen her looking so rosy in her face. I think that's tells us far more about the pain she was in the last few months than anything else could. The sparkle's back in her eyes too. Wonderful to see.

As for the shoes...It wouldn't shock me if she's been told to stay away from dress shoes for a few months. You combine how slick the soles of dress shoes can be and that high heels can affect your posture, I know I stand differently in heels, and those would be big time no nos for someone still recovering from pretty major neck surgery. Of course I have no idea if I'm right or not, but common sense wise, it just seems that's the reason why Mette-Marit's in her runners instead of dressier looking footwork.

It really is wonderful to see her out, about and looking so well!!

I agree about the shoes. She was probably advised not to wear heals or slick bottomed shoes. At least for a while.

Poly:
Shoes are of no importance, she must be comfortable when walking. Seems the color of the shoe is the least thing on her mind these days......

What a lovely surprise to see her!! Thanks for the pictures and articles. Did you see how happy and proud Haakon look at her? They are really happy to be again together at official events ...

Im so happy to have her back.

"Rayonnante" if you see what I mean : it means more or less "shining" (in a very good way)
