Where are they spending the holidays? Does anyone know?

Traditionally, the Royal Family spends the 24th together in Zarzuela. The 25th is spent with the other families. It was said that Letizia's family was going to their house in Zarzuela this year, Cristina, Iñaki and the kids were going to Vitoria with his family and Elena would have probably spent the day at Zarzuela with her parents. We don't know exactly where the Prince and Princess are now, but the senior infantas and their families are at Baqueira. The Prince has to be the 1st of January in Brasil for the presidential inauguration, though.

seems like a well organized paparazzi event, dont they go every year. does jesus ortiz usually do a belated birthday party, i think he was born on christmas eve.

I would hate to go around with all of that security. It's repulsive.

I wouldn't like it either, but I wouldn't call it repulsive. Unfortunately it's necessary in the world we live in.

You are correct. It is not a "well organized paparazzi event" and security is a necessity in today's society. All Royals, politicans, entertainers, millionaires, etc., have a need to protect themselves from the jealous nasty people. If they don't they must live a secluded solitary life, which in their position would be impossible.

It appears that were are 2 escort vehicles; the Range Rover in front and another vehicle behind the Lexus that Felipe was driving.

Yes, I noticed that too. It seemed that the back windows are darker compared to Felipe and Letizia's. THe tints are heavier I guess to protect the children from the cameras but not too much so paparazzi can still take pictures of them. ;)

Who provides security for the Spanish royal family? The Civil Guard?

Royal Guard, Civil Guard and National Police. The Royal Guard custody official buildings, and honors at official events. The bodyguards are civil guards and national police. In the acts outside the palace, each corp has its general security responsibilities (traffic control, riot police, underground police, local police).

The Civil Guard and "Policia Nacional".

I'm sorry, but the both don't look happy and relaxed at all....

It will be a wonderful news!Maybe they'll have another baby,possibly a son!As I've read Felipe wanted 3-4 children

Its only a rumour at the moment, nothing official has been confirmed .
