Yes, I think so.
More information, I think this information is good:
ABC.es: nacional - nacional - La Infanta Leonor, mañana al «cole»
Infanta Leonor, first-born of Princes de Asturias, will begin to attend the day-care center of el Pardo qualified for the children of the members of the Royal Guard tomorrow... (...)... the center has been considered by Don Felipe and Doña Letizia the most indicated for this “first escolarización” and reunites to the necessary conditions of security and discrección.
Also Mariángel Alcázar, from La Vanguardia newspaper, give de same information:
... the day-care center is located in a wing of the military dependencies of the Royal Guard in the town of el Pardo, the princes of Asturias have chosen this center for security reasons and also to be guaranteed the confidentiality, given the condition of civil employees and the military of the parents of the children who go to the day-care center.

Many thanks mapian. I do hope they'll do a small photoshoot as the Danish and the Norwegian couples did when their toddlers started day care center.

The article at hola.com

I don't that there will be a photoshoot, they want to keep it totally private and the main reasonf for their choice was security but also to let her have some privacy always in the Palace circles! I think we will never get to see Infanta Leonor first day in daycare because her parents just want that way always private issues!

I am pessimistic on the information of Hola, they go months saying that she was going to go to a school to which for the present time she is not going to go, so its news is not very trustworthy.
Until I do not see anything in the web of the Royal House, or a note of the Agency EFE like that today has confirmed that will go to the School of the Royal Guard confirms it, I will not believe myself that there will be photos.

Leonor irá por primera vez al "cole" esta semana - Gente - www.elperiodicodearagon.com
Leonor will go for the first time to the school this week
The Infanta Leonor, first-born of the Princes of Asturias, will go from this week to the school, in the Infantile School of El Pardo, at which there are present the children of the royal police officers. The small one, which next October 30 will expire two years, will go to the center that in February, 2005 there inaugurated her grandmother, the Queen, where she will share games and learning with the children of the members of the RoyalGuard, body that one entrusts of the safety of the Royal Family and that arose in the epoch of the Catolic Kings.
The School, for children from 0 to 3 years, has approximately forty seats, in a few modern facilities in which the small ones learn to relate, principally, to other children, and all that that will make confront to them with more fluency the first compulsory educations. The infantile School brings together all the requirements that make it be most adapted for the small Leonor, since it is the safety and the nearness with her residence.

Leonor will benefit from having others to socialise and play with. At some of the recent photo shoots it appears that she is the centre of attention and mixing with others will help that. (JMO) She is an adorable little princess though.

I'm glad she's going to get a chance to play with other children and develop her social skills with kids other than her cousins. It's a very important stage in any child's life.

Every time a little royal is going to school everybody is saying and resaying the same things ad repeating exactly the same arguments? Are you able to reasoning?
In the thread of the Royal Family vacation, the same person who is here, rejoicing about the poor Infanta going to school so young, objected that Infanta Leonor and Irene, her cousin, were not yet, able to be great friends, for in this age, little boys and girls are more concerned in themselves...Which is right. Boys and girls are able to play with each other (to "socialize", as it is called nowadays) only between four and five years old. Before they culd "interact" only in a sporadic way, without founding really durable friendship ties.
I should not be opposite that the Infanta goes to school...later in her life. Four should be a nice age. Before she would need to developpe a personality, and to now more her family. This first etape is "the family one". The child is centered in her/himself and the very close sourroundings.
I'm a teacher and I must study all children etapes before I could won my diplome. But this new "Spartiate" fundamentalist modern people is determined to show that even a baby must go to a place were little babies are all together, ready to be educated by the State. I shouldn't name this kind of education, for politics is forbidden here. But I'm sure you'll be able to name this all by yourselves.

Vanesa, I see your point and I agree family is very important but I do not think they are trying to educate her now. She is just going to play and do fun things( 2 is not too young to play with other children). They just want to get her used to being out and around people and kids her age and the sooner the better because that interaction will benefit her as she gets older. Many people do not realize that this helps little children ( especially the shy ones) so much in becoming more outgoing and in a couple of years help develop a great, outgoing personality. I do not see any harm.

I'm sorry, but just because there is no fotage of Leonor playing with children that are not her cousins does not mean that it does not happen.

Exactly. Plus, what would be the alternative? Both her parents are usually not at home during the day so Leonor would more or less spend time with her nanny. From that perspective, it's much better to send her to a day care center, where she can be with other children around her age.
