It is true ,I insinuated ,that it was problems for queen sofia, but it is not true as I see in pictures...

A "funny" and rather embarassing incident took place during a party last month.Poly Hatzioannou,the Cyprian shipowner,has bought the ex-house of Konstantinos in Psychiko (a "high-society" region in Athens) from his brother,Stelios Hatzioannou.Poly and his wife,Rosemary,invited all their famous and rich friends,including Konstantinos and Anna-Maria,to celebrate.So far so good....Until Poly and Rosemary started talking about their new home and how they are going to decorate it and how beautiful it's going to be,blah blah blah....in front of the ex-King and Queen,who remained silent all night and a little bit shocked of course...

Iakynthi. This shows what true nobles are made of...
However this was never K C villa. The Psyhiko villa was occupied by Queen Frederika and Princess Irene when not in Tatoi, after the wedding of KC & Q AM. It was bought by Hadjioannou back in the late 70's
I do not know if you recall or ever heard the gossip about the Herodus Atticus Palace after the referendum of 1974. It was turned over to the then President of the Republic and his wife went in and started re decorating it because those Royals had no taste.

It is behind the Houses of Parliament on Herodus Atticus Ave. Is that what they call it now? This is where the President has his offices and receives the foreign dignitaries.
During the Olympics the President had a reception for the IOC members and KC & Q AM were among the guests.
