Hi, I'm Lanier

And I'm a newbie.

Sorry to ask questions right after saying Hi, but does anyone know a good source to find out about Japanese royalties - their history, customs, what they are called, whether they were limited to who they could marry, etc.

Thanks.

Lanier

Hello Lanierj, wellcome to the Royal Forums. In this page Imperial Household Agency ,maybe you could find some info you're looking for. And also check our special forum for the Japanese Imperial Family

Hello Lanier. I'm new here, too. I found very interesting a book titled "The Yamato Dynasty" (Broadway Books, N.Y), written by Sterling Seagrave and Peggy Seagrave. The former is an expert in Far West contemporary history. It is a collective biography of the japanese imperial family, both men and women.I liked it very much.
