for the godparents to the next swedish heir are pretty obvious i would say.
the scandinavian royal families are going to take part of it, as they are known for their close relashionship and ties, Prince Willem-Alexander, Prince Haakon and Prince Frederik are highly candidates, and Victoria even was godmother of their heirs, so probably yes.
Daniel sister Anne seems to me also a candidate, and finally but not least, the Prince of Asturias, i mean they are very good friends, and Victoria was always besides him on celebrations when they were single.

for other children of Victoria, then i would see they choosing the Crown Prince's wives, Princess Madeleine, Prince Carl-Phillip, etc...

Of course she could choose one of her parents, but it's unlikely she will do that. Usually a godparent belongs to the same generation as the child's parents do.

Sophia/Sofia would be strange to me, if Carl Philip has a serious relationship with Sofia Hellqvist or even marries her. Same thing with Emma (ex-girlfriend of Carl Philip), Jonas (ex-boyfriend of Madde) or Chris(-toph) (boyfriend of Madde).

But Gustav i like very much!

Without this list i just had known about Caroline Kreuger und Lussan Gottlieb. To me it would be weird to name your children after your friends, even if you are really close.


Nicole, Sybilla, Helen(e), Kristina, Estelle, Nicolas, Theodor, Lennart, Charles, Edward, Hans are the names of cousins, their husbands/wifes or their children. (So children, children-in-law and grandchildren of the king's sisters).

And Oscar too. That's the name of her 2:nd son Just because cousins and kids of her friends have traditional royal names it doesn't mean that she should avoid them. The only names she should avoid as calling name is names of the girls who are 2:nd in line to the throne after their fathers : Elisabeth, Catharina Amalia, Ingrid and Leonor (wich would be Eleonora in swedish) .

thats only surperticions! my aunt had 3 pregnancies, all girls and all diferent baby bellys.
and my mom had that "small like a rounded basketball" belly when she was expecting me, and im a girl. my brother was the opposite.
i guess it matters on the baby's size, weight and lenght, and not the gender!
