April 12, 2017- Haya honours winners of Award for Special Education

DUBAI: Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has honoured the winners of the sixth Princess Haya Award for Special Education (PHASE) at a ceremony held at the Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

Princess Haya receives Governor-General of Australia

- Sir Peter Cosgrove, Governor-General of Australia, visits IHC and Al Jalila Children’s Hospital

The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, Lady Cosgrove, visited the International Humanitarian City (IHC) and Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital in Dubai today as part of a visit to the UAE.
Sir Peter and Lady Cosgrove, accompanied by UN Messenger of Peace and Chairperson of the IHC, HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, were received at IHC by members of the IHC Board of Directors, the CEO, and representatives of international humanitarian organisations and UN agencies, including the Australian NGO, The Fred Hollows Foundation.

Princess Haya to deliver keynote address at Dubai sports symposium
Princess Haya, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice-president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai, will deliver the keynote address at the 13th Dubai International Symposium for Sports Creativity on November 1, according to organisers.

There are 47,000 Lions Clubs around the world and 1.4million men and women who are Lions relying on kindness to heal communities from within, not through rhetoric but through solid action. Lions Clubs have helped victims in natural disasters and fight hunger. They have built hospitals, clinics and schools. It is an absolute honour to have their international board’s meeting here in Dubai. I would also like to commend HE Sheikh Tariq Bin Faisal Al Qassimi for the amazing work the Lions have achieved in the UAE under his leadership

Princess Haya meets French First Lady
In a sign of deepening cultural relations, Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday played host to Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron – who is on an official visit to the UAE.

Together with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall Princess Haya visited the newly refurbished 'Maiden' Yacht in London today, September 5. Princess Haya facilitated the vessel refurbishment. The vessel will work with partner charities to promote the education of girls around the world:

Sad news for the family. When I saw the name Abir had to stop for a moment to remember. She is so private I had forgotten about Haya and Ali's adopted sister. Losing your grandmother is never easy, she sounds like she was a lovely woman. Baha died back in 1971, before his daughter.
 
Princess Hayas currents engagements

Does any one know princess Hayas currents engagements/missions? I know she was active in the olympic committe and the UN. But what does she has left today?
 
She is chairwoman of a charity to fight hunger, in Jordan. She founded it in honor of her mother Queen Alia.
