I am amazed by their determination to carry on with "business as usual" though their hearts are broken. Really, were it not for the black clothing you really couldn't tell they were in mourning.

The Liechtenstein Garden Palace is one of the remarkable buildings in Vienna. This palace, belonging to the princely family of Liechtenstein, is also one of the most sumptuous baroque palaces owned by this family in the Austrian capital.

Hereditary Prince Alois, 55, was himself in Vienna this Monday, to visit the next major free exhibition, presenting works from the princely collections.

The Princely Collections are extremely precious and important - but (and this might be slightly off topic) they exclusively seem to consist out of old art.

Do we know, if the Prince or a junior branch of the House of Liechtenstein has a side collection of modern art too?

Not sure. The senior line is not interested in modern art only in old masters. The junior lines are quite private
