Interesting that two of the Hilton siblings have married into the European aristocracy.

Miss Hilton's Facebook has Cheatsheet's.com's
report of her brother's wedding.
His name is Barron Hilton II.

:previous: How nice that they had the civil wedding in Gotha and will have the religious wedding in Coburg!

:previous: It was interesting that there had not been a royal wedding at Friedenstein Castle for over 200 years. I like the fact that Stephanie and Jan planted a tree.

Is new Princess of Bavaria Turkish? Her name means "sea" in this language.

With her parents being called Metin and Gulseren it does seem like it.

According to L'essentiel, Archduchess Gabriella of Austria married Prince Henri of Bourbon-Parma yesterday in Genève. The couple had a daughter named Victoria Antonia last October.
Gabriella is the niece of Grand Duke Henri of Luxemburg while Henri belongs to the Danish Ledreborg branch of the Bourbon-Parmas. The newlyweds is related through several marriages during the last century.

Is this source reliable?
Those I've talked to on twitter seems to think that there was a wedding. Some say a civil ceremony. Luxarazzi is looking for an official confirmation.

Paul Theroff also mentions on his site that the wedding, in fact, took place.

And not far from it is Moos Castle with Brewery which is owned by the bride's father Count Riprand.

They did not marry, they were confused with another Habsburg couple. L'essential removed the story the next day. See the Royal Musings blog article.

Royal Musings: A different Habsburg wedding in Geneva on Saturday?

Thanks for the photos!

It is surprising that Duchess of Huéscar decided not to wear one of the wonderful Alba tiaras. The hairpiece was awkward. The dress was all right.

Yes it was disappointing that the bride opted not to wear a tiara. Specially as in Spain these are the only occasions nowadays where the noble ladies wear them. The groom looks very handsome in his Uniform and almost steals the Show

I don't understand either, perhaps no tiara to share ?

The late duchess had two tiaras, a third one sold. I assume one if not Botha would have been left to the current Duke and not one of his sisters.

Pethaps the bride chose not to wear a tiara from the family she was marrying into? Since she had no family one she chose not to wear one? We will never know.

Shame as the two remaining tiaras are amazing though I prefer the sold one.

The sold tiara was the one worn by the brides married into the family in the last few decades

What a shame the new Duchess of Huéscar did not wear one of the Alba's ducal tiaras seeing as one day she will be the Duchess of Alba.

From what in understand after reading the articles it was the bride herself who coose not to wear a tiara. but it seems the groom's mother wore a diamond and sapphire tiara from her Family (the Marquises de La Motilla) as necklace.

I think she looks stunning, very elegant, timeless and understated.

A very regal bride!
