Another royal Wedding : Hermann and Isabelle zu Leiningen.
 
Countess Astrid Bernadotte, the daughter of count Bertil Bernadotte and countess Jill Bernadotte, got married with italian marquess Filippo Bruti Liberati during the weekend at Chiesa di Ognissanti in Florence. The wedding party was at Palazzo Corsini. King Carl Gustaf, queen Silvia and crown princess Victoria attended at the wedding. Astrid is a Director at the Omer Tiroche Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in London, Filippo works in London too.

I think Astrid wore the same crown as her grandmother Estelle Manville when she married count Folke Bernadotte.

It has to be the same one. I found a pic of it being worn when her uncle Folke married his wife Christine but havent found any pics from Bertil & Jills wedding.

I think the couple is the Duke & Duchess of Casifliano. Their son Filippo was killed in a bike accident in London last year which was mentioned here on the forums.
The wedding reception was held in Palazzo Corsini which belongs to the family.

Astrid's tiara looks like it's from a cartoon of a princess wedding. Kind of funny. I've never seen one in real life like it before.
 
I think that it is great that Astrid Bernadotte continued the tradition and had her grandmother Estelle's wedding crown on her big day.
When Astrid's brother Edward married Nathalie Frediani in 2011 in Italy, also Nathalie wore the same crown.

If you look at other pictures you can see that the crown wasnt supposed to be crooked. That mustve happened by accident during the ceremony. Though I agree a little updo wouldve looked very nice especially later when wearing the aquamarine tiara some people think is Empress Alexandras Aquamarine kokoshnik

Love her tiara, but the hair is horrible in dinner photo. Looks like she was going to high school dance and slapped on headband. In no way did the beautiful tiara justice. Can't even see the beauty except in other photo.

The Wedding of Doña Carmen Martínez-Bordiú & Don Alfonso de Borbón at the Palace of El Pardo Chapel in March 1972.The groom was awarded the title of Duque de Cádiz and style of HRH by General Franco.Among the guests were Juan Carlos and Sofia.
