Take a look at Retrospective Thread and you will be delighted with the amount of intimate and family moments the Kings shared with the media through the years.

I came to the conclusion that Elena, Cristina and Felipe still show affection for their parents because they received lot of love since their birth. In those pictures there is lots of tender gestures, cumplicity and togetherness. It is really sweet!:)

They are very loved by the Kings! And that's really good, because some people has the idea the Kings are always very distant! (this isn't true!!)
But the photos of them are lovely! :)

In July 1999 Prince Felipe was a pilgrim to Santiago Compostela.
Being a particular pilgrimage the prince was accompanied by mates from Aifos Yacht and several colleagues from the Military Forces where Felipe developed his studies.

The Prince started his pilgrimage in Padrón, which is about 20 kms from Compostela. Dressed in sport clothes, a simple hat in his head and with the shell and stick that characterises Compostela pilgrims.

Once arriving, the Prince entered the Cathedral after stopping at the Pórtico de la Gloria, touching with his hand and head the centenary stone of the entrance. Then escorted by Bishop Quinteiro Fiuza the Prince standed in the Altar where he assisted the Holy Mass, hugged the Apostle and visited the urn with the saint relinquish.

In this picture i can see a lot of Juan Valentin in him. Juan will also be a heartbreaker!! ;) Perhaps this is why the queen is so affectionate to juan, because he reminds her of felipe in childhood?

What a chubby baby Felipe was at this age... I'm almost imagining the surprise in Leonor face the day Felipe holds her wearing a military outfit...

Funny, how Felipe in that pic looks the just-arrived-to-palma Leonor :lol:.

And impressive how all his nephews have something of him or something he inherited too...:wub: sweet!

I always thought Leonor's pointing thing had come after her mum ;) but oh well runs in the family

Great photos, thanks! Felipe looks cute and chubby as a child, which is also true in Leonor's case :) I hope that he and Letizia will do the same re: Leonor (and their future children, for that matter) and share from their family album some "growing-up" photos. Those would be real treasures! :flowers:
 
Is it just me or does anyone e lse believe Felipe bears a striking resemblance to the urdangarin boys. For example in this picture he looks like miguel
