Program at Victoria's hike in Jämtland tomorrow, at the website of the County Administrative Board of Jämtland
The Crown Princess makes two stops during the visit to Jämtland - the sports field and Andersön's nature reserve.
- We look forward to showing as many pages of the landscape as possible during the Crown Princess's visit. There will be beautiful nature, history, outdoor life and modern activities such as parasailing, says county governor Jöran Hägglund.
The Crown Princess's day in Jämtland begins in the morning with a visit to the sports field in Östersund. There, the Crown Princess gets to meet players and leaders from IFK Östersund's parafootball who tell about their activities and play a training match.
Hiking on Andersön
The next stop will be lunch at Andersön's nature reserve, about two miles southwest of Östersund. After the welcome speech by the county governor Jöran Hägglund, lunch and a history lesson about Andersö's fortlet of Jamtli, the hike starts north through the nature reserve.
Altogether, the hike will be about seven kilometers long.

12.00 Governor Jöran Hägglund greets the Crown Princess Victoria and all visitors welcome to Andersön's nature reserve and the southern entrance at Skansholmen.
Lunch
Kristoffer Sivertsson, nature conservation officer at the County Administrative Board, informs about Andersön's nature reserve and about the layout for the day's hike.
Jamtli - Jämtland County Museum - tells about Andersön's strategic location during history. In 1651, here was the construction of a defense rampart, but what happened next? Through a shorter role play, we are moving a few hundred years back in time.
13.15 We leave Skansholmen and walk north a short distance along the gravel road before we turn off along the path along the western shore of Andersön.
13.35 In the sparse old coastal pine forest, Pär Hedberg, nature conservation officer at the County Administrative Board, tells about tropical octopuses, tooth fungus and other nature values associated with Jämtland's lime-rich bedrock.
14.00 Arrival to Kronstugan
14.15 At Kvarnbacken among lush pine trees, fir trees and broad-leaved trees, we stop to listen to Eva Karlsson, coordinator of the cultural environment at the County Administrative Board, about cultural trails on Andersön, the desert village and the unique windmill from the 18th century which stood up on the hill.
14.45 The pastures on Andersön's north-west side are leased by Niklas Persson and Camilla Landgren, Brunkulla farm. They tell about Swedish mountain cows, hill farm and their thinking about driving the farm and agriculture in a changing climate.
15.15 The hike reaches Oxmelsviken on the eastern side of Andersön. At Storsjön's beach we listen to Ingemar Näslund, water strategist at the County Administrative Board, who tells about Sweden's fifth largest lake and its natural values.
15.45 The hike ends at the Trefotsudden.
At Trefotsudden, the scouts serve hot dogs
15.45 - 17.00, the Sea Rescue Society, Hej Främling and the Scouts are in place and inform about their activities.
17.00 The Crown Princess's departure and buses for the public go back to Östersund.
