I agree with Elly C. A pair of blue loafers would be better.
For me, the outfit of the journalist is much better and I suppose it's not Chanel.

I like the outfit. I love the blue jacket & for someone her age, pairing it with jeans is a nice look. The flats go well with the outfit. They're neutral.

And nothing says quiet luxury (and seriously wealthy) like treating a Chanel tweed jacket as an everyday outfit one pairs with jeans. It is a very aspirational vibe.
