were these pictures taken during her first months of pregnancy or is she a little fatty in abdomen area?

Most of the last groups of pictures were taken when Maxima was in her early stages of pregnancy. However, for a woman over thirty, it wouldn't be unheard especially now after having children for Maxima to have a bit of a tummy. After a certain age unless you do some serious abdominal work at the gym, you're entitled to at a list at little tummy.

Queen Elizabeth II in bathing suits
Has anyone EVER seen a picture of Her Majesty in a bathing suit?
Considering that she and Prince Philip have such a love of water, she must have swum at some point in her life.

I quite sure she swims in private. I have never seen a picture, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

Hmm.. I think I wouldn't want to see Her Majesty in a bathing suite. Can you imagine what kind of swimsuite she'd wear?

I think iowabelle is looking for the picture we would never see. It's unreasonable.I have seen one but that was when she was Princess Elizabeth and was swimming with Princess Margaret.

I don't know that it's so unreasonable. The paparazzi seem to get everybody else, and we know there have been security leaks around the Queen.
Should we see pictures of the Queen? I don't know that I really want to.
Perhaps the Queen is shielded by some discretion on the part of photographers (and certainly her friends).
(I think I have seen a picture of her swimming when she was a Girl Guide at Buckingham Palace, but that was before World War II.)
