Carl Philip and his car for 2021 at the website of Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, he races this year at Team Porsche Experience Racing.

Fredrik Ekblom has not competed since autumn 2018. But at Ring Knutstorp May 7-8, the former racing champion is making a comeback. He will be the first guest driver ever with the right to score in the championship.
This year there will be a difference. The drivers of Porsche Sweden's guest car with start number 911 will not only fight for places in the race. They will also take points. Both individually and in the team championship.
Car 911 will be Porsche Experience Racing's representative in the team championship. No matter who is sitting in it. In addition, the guest driver always forms team with Prince Carl Philip, Porsche Experience Racing's Masters Cup driver.
Fredrik Ekblom and Prince Carl Philip will undoubtedly be a pretty sharp duo in the premiere at Ring Knutstorp, but we can assure you that the prince will also have extremely competent colleagues in the other competitions of the season.

A Prince on the throne in the Masters Cup?
A new champion will be crowned. Maybe we'll see a prince on the throne in the Porsche Carrera Cup class for amateur drivers over 40?
- That is what I hope for, of course, says Prince Carl Philip.
Prince Carl Philip convinced when he made a comeback in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia 2020. He became eighth in total in the championship and competed for the title in the Masters Cup all the way to the final.
- It was my best season so far in the Porsche Carrera Cup.
He thinks that he still has a lot to develop. This year, among other things, he wants to qualify better.
In general, he strives to become more stable, raise the minimum level, find speed and find his way back to the calm he felt at the end of last season.
He also talks about trusting the material that he and his team Porsche Experience Racing face throughout an entire racing season.
- Then I don't mean the trust in my engineer Markus Fasth or the mechanics. We found a good way of working last year and I have full confidence in Fasth. He is constantly trying to get the best and fastest out of me.

Carl Philip was 10th at the first qualifying and wasn't qualified to the second qualifying, where the eight best go. But he was the best among the drivers competing at the Masters Cup (M).

The first race didn't go well, Carl Philip was 12th of 14 and third at Masters Cup (there are 4 drivers).

After this weekend Carl Philip is 12th at the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia 2021. He has 25 points, leader Lukas Sundahl has 135 points. Carl Philip is 5th at the Masters Cup (drivers over 40 years) with 68 points, leader Christoffer Bergström has 90 points.

Prince Carl Philip didn't have an optimal weekend in Anderstorp either. However, there were two podium places in the Masters Cup where he parks in fifth place before the next competition which is decided in Falkenberg.

- Of course, everyone who competes wants to be first. There are several races left and the prince has the capacity to climb up in his position, says Jerker Johansson, media manager for the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.
Carl Philip is in the championship for the seventh time and last year he landed in second place.
The winner of this weekend's competition was Lukas Sundahl. However, he didn't compete in the same quota as the prince. Carl Philip competes in the Masters Cup.
- You could say that the Masters Cup is like a championship in the championship. It is for those who are over 40 years old and who haven't competed as much on a professional level, says Jerker Johansson.
According to Johansson, the competition in the championship is tougher now than last year. Carl Philip had a better start last year but Johansson has high hopes for Carl Philip's upcoming competitions.
- Unfortunately I didn't have time to talk to the prince afterwards but I think he thought it felt good and that he just wants an even better result in the upcoming race.

Carl Philip was 9th at the first race of the weekend and 2nd at his class (there are only three cars at the Masters Cup this weekend).

Carl Philip was 4th at the second race and 2nd at his class. Only six cars finished the race, it was raining and five cars retiring in the beginning of the race. Carl Philip got a 5 sec penalty for jump start.

Carl Philip is now 8th at the Carrera Cup with 46 points, leader Lukas Sundahl has 157 points. He is second at the Masters Cup with 108 points, leader Christoffer Bergström has 140 points.

The classic Västkustloppet offered tough conditions, several crashes.
In the slightly thin Masters class for the weekend, Prince Carl Philip came second in both races. In the second heat, his effort also reached fourth place overall, which is the prince's best placement ever in the championship.

Successful meeting and training day at GTR Motorpark today. A 30 driver in place to test the track for Prince Carl Philip's Racing Trophy August 27-29 But already on Wednesday, August 25, the business around the competition starts with but PR activity on Fristadtorget in the middle of central Eskilstuna. There will be interviews with drivers, leading people in the organization and partners, exhibition of maps and a Swedish premiere!

Carl Philip was 6th overall and 2nd in his class (Masters Cup) at Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia's Kanonloppet's first race at Gelleråsen Arena in Karlskoga today. Two faster cars crashed and Carl Philip could overtake them.

At the second race Carl Philip was 11th overall and fourth in his class. He got 10 seconds time penalty for unfair driving.

Carl Philip is from Friday to Sunday at karting competitions and distributes Prince Carl Philip's Racing Cup at GTR Motorpark in Eskilstuna.

Carl Philip took the opportunity to test drive Rotax E20 during Friday's lunch break at GTR Motorpark. Just minutes after a workout in his gasoline-powered Rotax Max DD2, Carl Philip took his place behind the wheel in the electric map and pulled out on the track. - Tangible difference. Obviously, the engine is missing, which is positive, Carl Philip said since he, along with the test driver from Rotax, Darrell Smith, has driven a number of laps. Carl Philip praised, among other things, the balance in Rotax E20 and found that, thanks to the power map being heavier, he could bring more speed into the curves. - With Rotax E20 I therefore had a little different raceline is what I have in the DD2 map, he stated. The biggest impression perhaps made the torque. - Awesome! Full effect right away, that's how electric vehicles work. The organization of Prince Carl Philip's Racing Cup looks at the opportunity to introduce an electric class in its competition. Maybe next year it can be relevant already.

Carl Philip missed the press conference before the competition when he became ill after taking the second dose of corona vaccine, but when the competition started on Saturday, he was in place to compete.
- Unfortunately, it turned out that I felt a little bad, but I feel much better now, Carl Philip said by phone to SVT during the press conference.

"It was a successful conclusion in the Cadetti Racing Tour at GTR Motorpark in Eskilstuna. In conjunction with Prince Carl Philip Racing Cup, twelve children aged 6-9 years completed the season's last three education heates. After that, traditional awards ceremony with Prince Carl Philip awaited as an esteemed awards ceremony. All participants received their cap from John Hatter & Co. To Felix Boman from Köping, who participated in all six competitions since the Cadetti Racing Tour started in Falkenberg last July, Johan Carlström from John Hatter & Co had arranged a special cap. It was appreciated.
