Carl Philip drove his first test session ever at Anderstorp Raceway today, and drove off. His car was so damaged that he and Jan "Flash" Nilsson are not participating in this weekend's Swedish GT race at Anderstorp. It is unclear if they have enough time to repair to the next race at the Gothenburg City Arena.
- Prince Carl Philip escaped unharmed, but there came damage to the car that takes a long time to repair, says John Witty, Team Manager for Flash Engineering.

Two people in Gnosjö saw on Wednesday last week a man walking alone in the darkness along the road 151. They thought he looked like he could need some help. When they rolled down the window to provide a lift, they received a shock. The wandering man was none other than prince Carl Philip, all alone with no security guards. The prince had jumped off the train in Gnosjö, waiting to be picked up by some acquaintances, and then go on to his race in Anderstorp. When the friends were late, Carl Philip decided to walk the road 151 north, Värnämo Nyheter tells. The prince told to those surprised motoriststhat he was out of danger and that he was waiting for his friends.
- He got off the train but his transportation seems to have been late. I do not think, however, that he lifted, the transportation came probably in the end, said Bertil Ternert to Aftonbladet.

Carl Philip and Jan "Flash" Nilsson are racing in Anderstorp, they were 6th at their class at the qualification.
At the raceon Saturday Carl Philip and Flash came fifth. According to the website of Flash Engineering Carl Philip said: "We had to fight really, but overall it was a good race and we got good points for the championship, although of course we wanted to fight for victory". They are at third place in their class before the last race, which is in two weeks. They still have a chance to win the championship.

Bronze for Carl Philip and Jan "Flash" Nilsson at the swedish GT. After a good quali (they were fastast at their class) they had high hopes for the championship at their class, but at the race they had a gearbox problem. Flash managed to secure the bronze to them anyway.
Carl Philip has one race to go, he will drive at an invitation race in Gothenburg City Arena, where he won in the spring.
