14 March: Zac Goldsmith, MP, married to Alice Rotschild (of the Barons Rotschild) at Barnes, London.

30 March: Prince and Marquess Don Ludovico Gonzaga, of the Princes of Vescovado, married to Paola Bassi in Bergamo, Italy.

Marie-Eleonor is third of five living children and second one who marries; her oldest sister, Marie-Isabell, who will turn 26 in 22 days, married Franz Georg Sethy de Bicske (b.1980) in 2010.

The groom, 38, is son of the late Sir James Goldsmith and of his third wife, née Lady Annabel Vane-Tempest-Stuart (daughter of the 8th Marquess of Londonderry).

The bride, 29, is a daughter of the late Amschel Rotschild (youngest son of the 3rd Baron Rothschild) and of his wife, née Anita Guinness.
