Victoria and Daniel returned from the reception of the british wedding to their hotel at four o´clock. At seven o´clock they left their hotel, they were invited to a party at the home of crown prince Pavlos and crown princess Marie-Chantal.
Among the guests were also king Constantine and queen Anne-Marie, prince Nikolaos and princess Tatiana, prince Alexander of Yugoslavia with his wife Katherine and Lady Helen Windsor with her husband.
After the party, the guests got a gift, one tea cup or mug as a souvenir from the alternative wedding party.
Victoria and Daniel left just after midnight.

Daniel has been named to an honorary member of the Heart-Lung Foundation's board. The royal family has always taken an interest in the fund. Princess Christina is the honorary chairman of the foundation.

A little story from November:
A man writes in his blog that his grandson and his daycare group met Daniel at Haga Park. Daniel stopped his car and talked with them. The little boy, David, was suprised that the prince looked so normal and he had no crown...

Victoria and Daniel have been seeing luxury apartments in the building Nybropalatset (Nybro Palace) in Stockholm. To the first visit in January Victoria and Daniel came together. Two weeks ago Daniel came alone with his security guards. Both shows have been extremely secret, construction workers had to stay in their barracks during Daniel´s visit.
The penthouse is now undergoing a complete renovation. It covers 185 square meters on one of Stockholm and Sweden's most exclusive addresses.
Daniel's friends from the Master Training, Patrik Vrbanc and Lars Hellström, sit on the board of the newly formed housing association which bought the site from the Salvation Army last summer. The court didn´t comment on why Daniel has shown interest in luxury apartments, but the deputy head of information Annika Sönnerberg says: Housing is solved for the Crown Princess and Prince. They live at Haga Palace. I do not know why he has been and looked at an apartment.

The Finns in Tornio are already eagerly waiting for Victoria, who will inaugurate the "Viktoriatorget", the common Victoria Square at Haparanda-Tornio, on 22th September. The court has confirmed that Victoria will attend, but Daniel´s attendance haven´t been confirmed yet (maybe he hasn´t his studying agenda in knowledge yet). President Tarja Halonen has also been invited, but she hasn´t confirmed her attendance yet.

I´ve read from many articles that the Solliden Castle is actually quite small, so I find it quite understandable that Victoria and Daniel want to have an own villa for their family.

I read from the paper version of finnish Iltalehti, which quotes SvenskDam. Victoria and Daniel build their new villa to Hjörthägnet-area behind the Solliden castle, to the northwest. Their villa will be about 300 meters from the Solliden Castle at a very leafy and forested area. That´s why the place is perfect for the couple, they want their privacy and the thick leafy-tree forest prevents the looks of curious people. The elks have their pasture at Hjörthägnet, so the couple and their children can see elks from their windows.
Victoria and Daniel have wanted to take special care to that the villa suits to the historical surroundings in the right way. They have bought materials to the villa from the local craftsmen. Both grey and red limestones, which are familiar in Öland, are used to the villa. The building will start in just a few weeks, and it is estimated to be ready in March.

Prince Daniel is continuing his studies in physiology during autumn 2011. Studies in physiology, physical activity and health were conducted during spring. Now the studies will be continuing in growth and physical development in children and adolescents with relation to physical activity and disease. The studies are carried out as previously in the form of contract with teachers from the Karolinska Institutet. The studies in the fall correspond to 7.5 ECTS (högskolepoäng).
Prince Daniel has even official missions both independently and together with Crown Princess Victoria.

Daniel is studying just physiology and health issues at Karolinska Institutet, which is one of Europe's largest medical universities. It is also Sweden's largest center for medical education and research.

About Daniel´s education:
Prince Daniel attended Rabo primary school and Perslunda school in Ockelbo, and later Hammargymnasiet upper secondary school in Sandviken. He graduated from upper secondary school in 1991.

Prince Daniel spent many of his summers working, including at a home for the elderly in Ockelbo.After graduating from upper secondary school, Prince Daniel worked again within elderly care in Ockelbo pending his military service. He carried out his military service at I14 in Gävle.
