The site Noblesse and Royautees has a lot of pic and infromation on the fringe tiara.
It was made by Kochert, Vienna, in 1870 and it became a wedding gift for princess Maria Theresia of Braganca (going to marry archduke Karl Ludwig). It was then inherited by her daughter Elisabeth and used by princesses Marie and Isabelle on their wedding day. There are also pic of princess Georgina wearing it.

Here the wedding of Sofia and Juan Carlos of Spain, you can also see (very badly actually) princess Georgina wearing the tiara. Archives : ballet d’altesses dans les escaliers du Palais royal d’Athenes | Noblesse & Royautés

Finally here's the videoclip of the wedding of emperor Charles and Zita of Bourbon Parma. I think you can see Maria Theresia with a fringe tiara, that probably is the tiara we are talking of.

Why, in half of these pictures, is the fringe tiara not placed straight on the wearer's head? You go to all the trouble to have someone dress your hair, especially for a wedding, and then the tiara is crooked. Is that a princess faux pas?

It is a lovely tiara, though. I like it better than the Swedish fringe.

That tiara is stunning! Though I do prefer Elizabeth II's and CP Victora's Fringe tiaras better.

And her brooch is nothing to sneeze at, either! It's not just the Briitish monarchy that has the fabulous jewels.

I agree that the tiara is spectacular, but the brooch has the appearance of being "dusted" with diamonds - pavé set! There are no large stones of quality here - although a lovely piece it cannot compare with the British Royal Jewels. Also I can find evidence of only one tiara - this fringe one.

There's also the Kinsky Tiara, here seen worn by Princess Angela on her wedding day in 2000.

Another beautiful piece, but I think I am correct in saying that the Kinsky tiara comes from Princess Marie's family and therefore is not a Liechtenstein piece in the truest sense of the word.

Whatever its origins, the Kinsky tiara is beautiful. The motif is very unusual; almost a sunray effect.

In that sense the fringe tiara also isn't a Liechtenstein piece, because it originates from the Habsburgs and came to Liechtenstein through AD Elisabeth Amalie.
It somehow seems likely that Princess Sophie will someday also inherit a tiara from her family. So they might get a third one.

How interesting! The Kinsky tiara belongs to that family, so are you suggesting that the Liechtenstein fringe tiara does not belong to the Prince of Liechtenstein's family?

I just meant that the fringe tiara, like the Kinsky tiara, does not originate from the Liechtenstein family. Both tiaras are now owned by the Liechtensteins, but the fringe was originally made for a Habsburg Archduchess.

There is also an bandeau tiara with a small lilie in the front which was worn by Princess Nora at her Wedding in 1988. But not seen since. Probably the same one was worn by Princess Marie at her pre-Wedding Gala but i have only seen a pic with bad quality from this ocasion so i'm not sure about this.

Here is a wedding picture of Princess Nora:

The tiara looks like an aigrette, meant to be worn with feathers. The two other tiaras in the family are certainly more beautiful. Is anything known about it's origin?

Princess Barbara is wearing Queen Olga of Greece's Boucheron diamond tiara, made in 1907 [thumbnail 1].
Princess Karoline is wearing a bandeau tiara that has very similar elements to the anthemions which make up the Countess of Wessex's wedding tiara. [thumbnail 2]
The wedding may be that of Prince Eugen von und zu Liechtenstein and Countess Maria Theresia von Goëss in 1968. The bride's tiara is likely to belong to the Goëss family or that of her mother, a Countess Kottulinsky. [thumbnail 3]
Princess Nora's wedding tiara, 1988, provenance unknown. [Attached Images 4]

I thought the same. The tiara looks a bit different because of the light. But the elements and the outline are so similar that I think it's the same piece.
