Diamonds and more diamonds for our Maxima. She really glammed it up for us!!!!!!! Even the star brooches in her hat. Really incredible............ We'll get some great pics from our experts soon.

I am wondering if there is a certain symbolism behind wearing the diamond stars on her hat. For her own wedding Maxima wore diamond stars on her tiara and she repeated this star tiara twice: at the weddings in Norway and Denmark. I was surprised that Maxima wore another tiara at Victoria's wedding, but she wore three diamond stars as brooches on her order ribbon. And now the diamond stars again appear on her at the wedding in London.
I will look out for the stars when Maxima attends the next wedding. Maybe in Monaco?

She looked stunning at the wedding, absolutely classic. The diamond stars are such a great addition to the look! Also a nice touch to wear something from her wedding to William and Catherine's.
She's worn the diamond stars to (almost?) all the royal weddings she's attended since the wedding. She wore the diamond stars tiara to the weddings of Märtha Louise and Ari Behn and of CP Frederik and Mary, and the stars to Victoria and Daniel's and William and Catherine's.
I can't remember what she wore to Friso and Mabel's wedding. I know she wore the stars to the pre-wedding gala for Felipe and Letizia, but I don't think she wore them to the wedding.

I just checked pictures of the Duke of Parma's wedding last year. Maxima didn't wear the stars then, but it was a comparatively low-key wedding.

OMG! I love it! She wore her the stars from her wedding tiara! Margrethe wore her diamond daisy brooch she wore to her wedding, and Mathilde wore her wedding tiara as a necklace. LOVES IT!

I really thought Princess Maxima had on the best jewels at the wedding. I can't wait to see what she wears for her 40th b-day party!

Kudos to Queen Beatrix for opening up the vaults and allowing Maxima to have fun with royal jewels. I wish some of the other Queen's were so generous with their daughters-in-law.

I didn't saw the stars on her hat until now. Wow! They look very pretty on it. Maxima has for sure the most beautiful juwellery I have ever seen.

I suspect of all the royals present, Maxima probably had the most glittery jewellery on at the British wedding. Most British tend to wear pearls and not diamonds during the day, other than the odd brooch.
