The Queen Paola Foundation, founded in December 1992, is a Belgian non-profit organization. It was created at the request of of then, Paola, Princess of Liège to provide support on young individual's integration and education.
Even after her husbands' abdication in 2013, Queen Paola continued to give her time and effort for the foundation as they also work automously with only a small team of support staff and some volunteers.

This award was created in 1996 and is given to select individual who possess excellence in teaching.

An initiative in the field of integration.
- Terre d’Avenir
Thww Terre d’Avenir Award is given in collaboration with the Dirk Frimout Foundation. A special prize to promote vocational training and scientific education.
