I'm glad his personal stability seems to be making him enjoy life more all around. It'll make a difference to how people react to things like his charities if they see him as an involved and interested person rather than a miserable cuss who's preoccupied with his own issues.

Bolland: Prince Sees Himself As "A Political Dissident"

Prince Charles' former PR guru Mark Bolland has sensationally told the High Court that the Prince sees himself as a political "dissident".

The formerly loyal aide also claims Charles sees his job as being to adopt a campaigning role, working against the political concensus, which Bolland says he always feared might conflict with the Prince's future constitutional role as King.

The revelations come in the continuing legal battle between the Prince and the Mail on Sunday newspaper over the publication of Charles's private journals.

Charles 'adopted dissident role'

The Prince of Wales viewed himself as a "dissident" working against political opinion, a former aide has said.

It should be remembered that Mark Bolland left before he was pushed.

I like how they sat down on the sponge mats! It shows they don't think they are above anyone else

Princejohnny25,
I thought I read somewhere that she was 5'5". I'll try to look for it.

Charles: A modern prince

While Prince Charles has been criticised for traditional views on issues like hunting, he can be remarkably modern.

Thanks Skydragon. I know that the Duchess' height was being compared to First Lady Laura Bush's who stands 5'4" and she stood somewhere between a 1/2 to an 1 inch taller.

Charles and Camilla bring smiles to hospice children

Royal parents Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall brought smiles and laughter to the faces of a host of youngsters when they made an official visit to a children's hospice this week. The couple, who have four children between them, were lending their support to the opening of Shooting Star House, which offers palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions.......

She really does seem to wear the same outfit alot. I know that she does not want to be known as a clothes horse (like Diana). Get the Duchess some new clothes!!!!

Trying to be economical I can understand. Or maybe that isn't the right word in her case but the Duchess can mix up her pieces and get away with it.

Since the discussion about Prince Charles's diaries looks set to be a long-term one, I've split it out of this thread into its own thread, which can be found here:

http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...case-8937.html

New news items about this topic can be posted here, but in-depth discussions about the issue should be confined to the other thread.

Could it be that she is fairly new to the job. It takes time to have outfits designed, fitted and made to everyones satisfaction. Then take into account the unreliable weather we have. Perhaps she has 5 or 6 outfits ready for the summer or heavyweights that it has just been too warm for.
If she had the audacity to have a new outfit for every outing, people would soon start complaining. :)
