Princess Grace, Princess Caroline and Prince Rainier were standing at the balcony of the Palace during a national day (November, 1981).

1959 National Day
I think this is the first time I've seen a picture from this particular National Day! Thanks queenofthelight!

Sorry,Marilena ,but the photo you posted cannot be 1990 . That was the year when Stephano died ; Caroline didn´t attend and the princely family didn´t appear in the balcony of the Palace .

No Garcia, Marilena is right. P. Caroline attended, as usual, to the Thanksgiving Mass in 1990 but, due to Stefano's death, as it had already hapened in 1982 when P. Grace died, the family didn't show up at the balcony. Hola published an article about it.

Oh I thought her hair was short in your photo. But looking better at it I started to think it's a picture from Stefano's funeral.
I didn't think it was national day because Albert and Rainier aren't wearing uniforms.
Then I checked getty and they also say it's 19 november 1990 first mass after Stefano's death.
I also thought everything was cancelled after Stefano's death, but apparently it was only the balcony scene and maybe the opera event.
Never too late to find out something new!

The pics belong to NATIONAL DAY 1990. Caroline was crying after TE DEUM in MONACO CATHEDRAL.
