Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is seated beside Letizia and Alexia of Greece is behind Felipe so I'd guess it was at a Pre Wedding event for Crown Princess Victoria?

The photo is false, a photoshop image. I think Infanta Elena was the woman sitting next Felipe.

Yes its Infanta Elena,she wore that gown to the Pre Wedding reception for Crown Princess Victoria.

Remember he had Eva Sannum as a date at the Crown Prince of Norway's wedding. But not long after, they broke up.
 
From what I recall I don't think queen Sofia was too impressed by Eva Sannum.
 
That was what I read too. But taking her to a royal wedding as a date, then I think many norwegians thought she would become his bride. I do not know anything about Eva, and how she is or was. But remember there was alot of it in Norwegian media.

The Oslo date drew lots of critizism, Felipe kind of tried to sell Eva as his future wife to Spaniards it backfired, the dress was very revealing at the event, the Kings were not happy with a model as DIL, Eva's face was seen on plastic bags for a job and posed in underwear, was labelled not suitable by the press, even though they were together for a couple of years the pressure became too much and they broke up.

Felipe learned and kept Letizia a secret until the engagement, the Kings were not happy with a divorced journalist either but Felipe had the age to marry and you cannot fight off every girlfriend for every reason.

Eva had spoken about the unbearable pressure of the relentless press as girlfriend, something that Letizia has had to endure ever since the engagement day, as finacee, as wife.
 
Is Eva married now ? Has she any children ?
 
I'm sure it would have made no difference to Spaniards but Eva should have been groomed.

This was her first major public with Felipe by her side- she should have consulted with a royal stylist or groomer.

I believe the saying is "dress for the job you want'". Eva should have showed up looking every inch of a royal princess.
Instead she showed up wearing a low cut and poorly designed gown. She looked like a blueberry tart. Just terrible.

Look at how Sofia of Sweden transformed.

Astrid Ullens de Schooten Whetnall is the daughter of Count Charles-Albert Ullens de Schooten Whetnall and Countess Madeline Bernadotte. Madeleine in turn is the daughter of Prince Carl Bernadotte & Countess Elsa von Rosen and therefore a first cousin of King Harald of Norway, King Baudouin & King Albert of the Belgians and Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte of Luxembourg. Not a bad match if it had gone anywhere.
