Crown Prince Initiative "Haqiq" wins Bodini global award
New York, March 19 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II's Haqiq Initiative, has won the 2016 annual award of the San Marino-Alexander Bodini Foundation, granted for the world's two best organizations or initiatives.

Haqiq Initiative, (Achieve in English), focuses on a number of priorities that promote partnership with the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), organizations and initiatives to set joint programs to promote children's and youth's rights.

Crown Prince turns 22 Tomorrow

Amman, June 27 (Petra) His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, turns 22 tomorrow Tuesday, June 28th.

Prince Hussein is the eldest son of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah. He was born in Amman on 28 June 1994, and was named Crown Prince, by Royal Decree, in July 2009.

The Crown Prince graduated high school in 2012, from King’s Academy - a boarding school in Jordan modeled after Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts. In May this year, He completed his university degree in International History at Georgetown University in Washington D.C.

On 23 April 2015, Prince Al Hussein became the youngest person ever to chair a UN Security Council meeting, leading an open debate on how youth can combat violent extremism and its "poisonous ideology".

Amman, Aug. 1 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Monday, visited the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, and was briefed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Nasser Judeh, on the latest developments in the region and the world and Jordan's efforts in dealing with them, in the framework of the effective Jordanian diplomacy, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

The Crown Prince was also briefed on the ministry's workflow on following up on implementing UN Security Council resolution 2250, which was issued upon Prince Al Hussein's initiative on the youth role in promoting peace and countering extremism.

Crown Prince receives U.S Breakthrough Prize Foundation's Chairman

Amman, Aug. 8 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Monday, received Chairman of the U.S Breakthrough Prize Foundation, Simon Pete Worden.

The Breakthrough Prizes honor important, primarily recent, achievements in the categories of Fundamental Physics, Life Sciences and Mathematics.
The meeting tackled ways of cooperation between the Crown Prince's Foundation and the Breakthrough Prize's, in the framework of supporting, enabling and providing Jordanian youth a platform for their capabilities and creativity, through initiatives and expertise offered by this prestigious scientific institution.

Crown Prince checks on activities of Al Hussein Youth Camps


mman, Aug. 10 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Wednesday, checked on the qualitative and entrepreneurial experience, Al Hussein Youth Camps for work and construction offer for young people, through training stations, that are organized in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation's Haqiq Initiative.

The Crown Prince was briefed on the awareness, training, educational and voluntary role of Al Hussein Youth Camps' training stations, which were set up this year by the Ministry of Youth under the slogan "Great Arab Revolt ... Renaissance of a Nation."

Crown Prince attends graduation ceremony of National Training Program

Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Thursday, attended the graduation ceremony of the second class of the National Training Program, organized by Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.

Upon his arrival at the ceremony, the Crown Prince was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs and Minister of Education and a number of civic and military officials.

About 1460 school students across the Kingdom participated in this year's program, which was carried out in cooperation with a number of concerned ministries and institutions.

Well, if you like the arab-type he´s quite goodlooking.

Speaking of Harry although I like him a lot I wouldn´t say he´s handsome in the usual sense, but it´s rather his attitude, his "aura" and unconventional manners which attract him to women, in my opinion. Certainly he cannot compete with an Orlando Bloom, Chris Hemsworth, Pierre Casiraghi or a Haakon of Norway, for instance. But being a male member of the brit. royal family in a certain age and behaving like a "real guy" while showing his sensitive side it obviously makes him look "sexy"....

Amman, Sept. 5 (Petra)-- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Monday, attended the inauguration of the second phase of Queen Alia International Airport’s (QAIA) New Terminal Project, which has added 12 new gates that will contribute toward raising the airport’s annual passenger capacity to up to 12 million passengers.

Valued at USD 214 million, the second phase of QAIA’s New Terminal Project increases the airport’s total area to 160,000 square-meters, raising its annual passenger capacity by approximately 3 million in comparison to its capacity during the project’s first phase.

I feel crown prince Hussein will soon join the royal military academy of Sandhurst, his new hairstyle hints me so. Although I don't like his new hairstyle.

Yes, Prince Hussein is a beautiful. But I too don't like his new haircut. I understand why, military academy, but that doesnt' mean I have to like it. Good news, it will grow back. [swoons]

I don't think it'll grow back soon, he needs to maintain this hairstyle till the end of his military term at Sandhurst. But nevertheless, we'll learn to adore him with this hairstyle too.
