What Great news!

Nice to hear that Prince Charles has finally met President Hu, whom some Chinese people called him "the Boss" as his nickname.

I am happy to see the move and make every wish that Prince Charles and the Duchess will visit China in the near future.

The Prince of Wales has long had a frosty relationship with the Chinese government, in particular because of its rule in Tibet

Prince of Wales forced to toe the line on China - Telegraph

Prince Charles has actually promoted projects in sustainable development in China well before Sir Michael Peat appeared on the scene in August 2002. So I think this is simply Tim Walker of the Telegraph smarming up to Prince Charles's principal private secretary. In fact most links between Prince Charles and foreign heads of state are quite correctly dealt with his current private secretary on secondment from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

From Chinese websites, I saw that Prince's Charities have established several activities with China for years. For Example, Prince of Wales Foundation will be the main body, but also Youth International Initiative and Internatioanal Business Leaders Forum(Prince Charles resigned the president this Year) have projects for years.

Any way, I am glad that Prince Charles and President Hu met finally and it is nice to us to see their photo together

Should we give Jug Ears a second chance?
The Prime Minister's Office confirmed this past week that there will be one, possibly two, royal visits to Canada within the next year.

globeandmail.com: Is Canada fit for a future king?

:previous: If all Canadians are as rude as this person, perhaps Charles should be asking whether he wants to give Canada a second chance!:whistling:

Welll they said it was most likely or certain ish that the Queen will open the vancouver games in February is it?

I understand what the people are saying who wrote the article but they certainly missed out a few key points about how amaainxg Prince Charles is. And yes your completely right Skydragon, maybe not Canada as a whole but certainly these people who wrote the article.

Here are some more additional pics from yesterday, it's really
great to see Charles lending a hand :) and I love pics 4 and 6
with his face expression.

in Watford. During the visit the Prince toured 'The Natural House' viewing
new building techniques and materials. The Prince turned bricklayer as he
tried laying the new 'Thermoplan' bricks, getting cement on his suit and
appearing to have scuffed the skin on his hands. Hertfordshire, England

Playwright Alan Bennett has explained his decision to turn down a knighthood, despite describing himself as the last monarchist in the country

BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Bennett is UK's 'last monarchist'

Expanding on his opinion of Charles, he added: "I've met Prince Charles two or three times and on each occasion the same thing has struck me, namely that he really works his ass off.
"He's much more conscientious and attentive to people than he is ever given credit for and so, as I say, I have a great deal of time for him.

Few people are lucky enough to meet Prince Charles, especially at his Highgrove Gardens.
But that's exactly what a New Zealand artist is off to do

I would have to disagree with the last monarchist claim on my behalf. But the reasoning behind his decision to turn down the knighthood is incredible. "He really works his arse off" how wonderful
