Hi Azrayy! We are not sure if it is his profile exactly, right? Anybody could create a profile under his name and upload his photo. For example, at Facebook, there is also somebody named Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum .. On the other hand, if sheikh Hasher has his account at all , he can be using other name - or lie about his age. If anybody talks to this guy, pls kindly let us curious people know who is it!

Hello RF followers !

This is my first thread so, I hope somebody will be able to help me.

Can anybody tell me the family tree of HH Sheikh Hasher Maktoum Juma bin Al Maktoum ? He is the Chairman of the AL FAJER GROUP of companies.

Any help on how he is related to the Ruler of Dubai, how many kids he has, wife's name etc.

The reason I am asking is because I will be involved with Al Fajer soon and am researching all the background info I can before meeting HH.

Anyone having any info also on Al Fajer Bunkering Services will be much appreciated.

I believe Sheikh Hasher has more than one wife.
He had a farm in Al Awir Dubai near to the huge farm I lived on with an Emirati family.

The head of the family knew Sheikh Hasher very well and I do know my friends second wife (who I lived with) used to always socialise with Hasher's second wife (could of been his girlfriend though as they often pass them off as a wife).

I do not know much about Hasher's sons including Maktoum, although they did used to drive around at night in their 4x4's near our farm and sometimes you would see the boys riding.

i might be mistaken, but i don't think sheikh hasher bin maktoum has ever been married. if this is the formula one guy, he is related to sheikh mo bin rashed through sheikha hind. as far as i know, he does not have any children. like sheikh ahmed, he was educated in the west. seems to be a very savy guy when it comes to business.

Maybe we are getting confused by the common names. Stevelim's post is asking about HH Sheikh Hasher Maktoum Juma bin Al Maktoum, who is the Group President of the Al Fajer Group. His son, Sheikh Maktoum Hasher Maktoum, is also involved with Al Fajer according to a recent interview posted in this thread. The Al Fajer website doesn't offer much information.

I know he oversees Al Fajer Properties and heads Dubai International Holding Company | DIHC

His father owns a large conglomerate Al Fajer Group which is probably always busy with new projects etc. Check the website out. Sorry couldn't be helpful!

Yes that was who I was talking about (his father). Sorry but when I lived in UAE, it was only the main sheikhs who were of any interest to anyone. They boys were just teenagers then and had yet to make a mark on anyone let alone the western world hence the confusion on my part.

That may be so.
Hasher was a very close and dear friend of the head of the local family I lived with (My friend Kauser and her Emirati husband were like parents to me) so if they tell me it was his "Wife" and that is what he introduced her as, then I personally am going to believe that.
This was back in 2000 - 2001, things may have changed since then though.

Sheikh Maktoum sold all interest in A1 before the second season began and has not been seen at a race since. He has many other business interests he is pursuing including some new ones sponsored by the Dubai government.

I don't personally know his travel schedule, but I seriously doubt he will be attending the A1 race in Mexico this upcoming March.
