Functions:
Provide military guard service:
Provide security guard at Palacio de la Zarzuela.
Provide security guard at Marivent Palace when determined.
Provide security and honor guards at the Royal Palace of Madrid, Royal Palace of El Pardo and other palaces and royal sites when determined.
Render honors and give solemn escorts:
Render honors and participate in solemn military parades with a picket, section, company / squad, group or grouping.
Salute the cannon with ordinance salutes.
Participate in the funeral services of members of the royal family, as determined by Royal Decree 684/2010 on Military Honors.3
Give solemn motorized or horseback escorts.
Provide services to foreign heads of state:
Provide the guard of honor at the Royal Palace of El Pardo.
Pay honors.
Give solemn motorized or horseback escorts.
Appoint the technical entourage and provide caravans.
Provide support in healthcare.
Support the House of S. M. the King:
Provide permanent healthcare to the royal family.
Cover the destinations determined by the General Secretariat.
Provide various services on a permanent basis and others for specific events.
Provide timely services or supports.
Cover the needs of the Military Room.
