As far as I know, Joachim and Marie aren't attending the Games and are acting as regent. Or they're attending the closing ceremony tomorrow. I remember reading an article about them finding a few days when Benedikte has returned to Denmark.

Ya ya I know I said no more updates but just wanted to say I've searched online and so far no word on whether Catherine is actually at the 10 M diving final. She was supposed to be there but no word if her schedule has been changed.

And your very welcome. Really excited to come back and do the royal tour. I dunno if I'll be here for the Paralympics but if I am in town I'll def be here for any updates.

I can relate, but in all seriousness, get some rest. I think we need a 'TRF Anonymous' support group, to help us overcome the urge to come on here at all hours of the day and night :D. Your updates are fabulous, and are appreciated, however.

Now, for the ridiculous question; when are the Para-Olympics?

I took vacation to watch the Olympics, and watch the royals watching the Olympics. I can't possibly be expected to concentrate on work when the Olympics are on! : )

Someday I hope to actually attend the Olympics in person. #1 on my bucket list!

Haakon and Mette-Marit are such enthusiastic spectators :D, while poor Sverre and Ingrid-Alexandra are looking a bit bored :lol:. Love the picture of Sverre entertaining himself (and his Mom) with his name tag.

Very enthusiastic Frederik. I think these Games provided some opportunities for leisure as well as official engagements. It's a bonus that the royals for the most part enjoy sports.

I read her post the first time very clear & knew exactly what she meant ;)

I was just saying in general that she could have not changed her name to her husbands thats why she has no title even though its a most recent name badge. Maybe my post was not clear.

First the four of them posed when arriving at Dannebrog.

Later on Marie and Joachim visited the Danish exhibition and here they strolled around and bette (= wee) Henrik tried out a Viking longboat and played with baloons. Athena was looked after back on Dannebrog.

- It's not much of the Olympics they'll see. A pity, but someone has to remain in DK and man the fort.

Has (the Danish) Princess Elisabeth been away since she couldn't act as a regent in place of QMII, Frederik, Joachim and Benedikte? I mean, she's 12th in the line of succession to the throne, so she should be able to act as a regent, am I right? It could have been nice for Joachim, Marie and the children to get a bit more of the Olympics than the last two-three days.

The pictures are wonderful, I love seeing royals from different countries meet and these Olympic games really have been generous with those kind of pictures, so I am pretty satisfied :lol:

At the photos it is said that on Friday evening at the Olympic Stadium, they were at the athletics (track and field) events. But according to press reports about Beckham being there, it was yesterday.
