I suspect there is something rotten in the state of Thailand.

I noticed the last few events the Queen have been solo and the King has been attending events with Sineenat accompanying him---even family events such as this one.

I feel for the poor Queen
 
How nice to see Q. Suthida again. The king is not very tall?, he looks ill? but at least he performs his duties in his Country where he should be. I kind of like the new hairstyle of the Pss, not keen on the front part, but the rest of it is fine.
 
Not a fan of the haircut nor the dress. It is a bit too sexy for such an event.

The new hairstyle is probably from the fact that the princess recently got promoted to a military rank of General and now has a military haircuts instead.

But was it really her decision? I don't think so. You see, she said in the post that her hair is naturally curly and takes a lot of care effort. Plus, no salons were opened during last year's lockdown. It is easier for her to get the hair shorten. But Thai royals could not afford to have hairstylists at their palaces? They have to venture out to the salons by themselves? Something doesn't seem right in the story.

After her studies in Aviation Physiology and attended the Royal Air Force’s Hyperbaric Chamber, the Princess also completed her training in Static Line Parachuting. She will be attending the Free Fall Parachuting, with both HAHO and HALO, body balance, positions, and direction control through the wind tunnel.

Yes, it appears that Princess Bajrakitiyabha and Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti are candidates for the Thai throne, but none are still considered the crown prince.

According to the Thai-constitution, unless the King has specifically named a Crown Prince or Crown Princess when he dies (and he has the sole right to name whoever he wants), the nr 1 in the line of sucession will be invited by the privy council to ascend the throne.

Prince Dipangkorn is currently nr 1 in the line of sucession and will remain that until The King removes him or until The King has a son with any of his current wives... Then Prince Dipangkorn would automatically be bumped down to nr 2.
