Camilla as Patron of the Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity hosted the annual Christmas tree event at Clarence House today, December 7.

This is always one of my favorite events of the year. The children always look as though they are having a wonderful time, but so does everyone else, parents, the Queen, the guard, and even the reindeer.

I wonder if this will be continued in the future. If the King and Queen take up residence at Buckingham Palace in a few years, the event certainly would have a different feel, much less intimate.

The Queen and the Booker Prize Awards is one of my favourite combinations.
 
The most wonderful annual event at Clarence House took place again today, December 6.

Queen Camilla as Patron welcomed children, supported by Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, to decorate the Christmas tree:

The annual Christmas Children's Party at Clarence House is always a favourite of mine.
