I wonder why this wedding took place at Schloss Hohenburg, but not at Palace of St. Emmeram.

According to wikipedia this castle was the property of the widow of GD William IV, Dowager Grand Duchess Maria Ana of Luxembourg, nee Pss. of Portugal. Apart from Princess Elisabeth, princess Antoinette also married here (to the Bavarian ex-crown prince).
