Ok, so, according to his mother they are separated and haven't been living together for some time (the sentence 'it had been months since their coexistence was married' should read something like 'it has been months since they lived together as a married couple'). Apparently, they keep the door open for a potential reconciliation and CP lives nearby (in a rented apartment) and picks his daughter up for school in the morning.

This news is not surprising. I keep up with the couple regularly and have not seen them together for quite awhile. I thought something like this was going on.

I remember their wedding. They were almost giddy, they couldn't stop laughing and giggling even during the vows.

Then after a long wait, the birth of their beautiful only child.

I loved their little family. I hope it can be salvaged.:
