«It has been a very good year. We have had the opportunity to study and to experience some peace and quiet», said Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon after spending one year in London with his family.
The Crown Prince and the Crown Princess visited the Norwegian school in London on Wednesday, their last official task in Great Britain before the family moves back to Norway this autumn, according to NTB.
«It has been enjoyable being able to live in London. We have had a lot of visitors, which is very nice, and we have also met a lot of new people. And, maybe most importantly, we have become familiar with the British society and that is very useful», the Crown Prince said.
Summer holiday
The Crown Princess Mette-Marit has now finished her studies.
«I have had four exams and I think it went well. It feels good to be finished», the Crown Princess said.
The Crown Princess will go on summer holiday with her son Marius whereas the Crown Prince will continue his studies and complete his exams of trade politics at the London School of Economics on Thursday.
«After this I will start working on my paper which is to be completed in September», the Crown Prince said.
The Crown Prince has not yet decided on the subject of his paper.
Move back home
The couple will move back to Norway for good when the Crown Prince has completed his studies but the Crown Princess will be spending most of her time in Norway as her son will start school in Norway this autumn.
