Bertil Nordström, a very close friend of king Carl Gustaf, has passed away aged 78. This is confirmed by the family for Svensk Damtidning.
Bertil Nordström was one of the king's oldest and closest friends who spent a lot of time with the royal couple.
Bertil was part of the king's inner circle and was also close friends with Anders Lettström, Anders "Aje" Philipson and Erik Lallerstedt.
The king called him "Bersan" and unlike other royal friends, he was neither interested in hunting nor fishing. Instead, the friends met around their love for nature and also sports, which they liked to watch together during weekends.
The king is godfather to Bertil's daughter Jenny, and queen Silvia is godmother to Bertil's son Niklas, both born in 1988.

Madeleine's good friend and Nicolas' godmother Katarina von Horn, 42, and Robert von Horn, 46, have filed for divorce.
The application is made jointly and according to the document, the divorce must be preceded by a period of consideration, which is standard when there are minor children in the family.
The couple confirms in each of their emails to Expressen, with the same wording, that they have decided to go their separate ways: "That's right, we are in agreement and good friends and now look out for our girls' best interests and with respect for the 21 wonderful years we shared".

King Carl Gustaf's friend businessman Anders "Aje" Philipson, 79, and wife Bathina Philipson, 44, are divorcing. They have submitted a joint application for divorce to the Stockholm District Court. As they have three minor children, they request that the divorce judgment be announced after a period of reflection.
Bathina comments the decision on the phone from Marbella, where the whole family spend autumn holidays together. She tells that there was no quarrel or drama surrounding the decision.

Anna Z Ek, wife of Daniel's childhood friend Niklas Ek, had worked as a press photographer for 23 years when four years ago she decided to broaden her skills in her working life. In the spring 2018, Anna took the Poppius course to become a web editor. After the course, she got a job as a web editor with responsibility for social media at Stockholm City Mission.
- It had become quite tough in the newspaper industry and I felt that in the long run I could lose my job. I wanted to make myself more attractive on the job market.
Anna enjoyed her job at Stockholm City Mission. In addition to taking care of social media, she had the opportunity to meet people, photograph, film and write.
- The City Mission is an organization with a fine foundation of values that does so much good for Stockholmers, and it has felt incredibly good. In the long term, I can imagine coming back and working here. The fact that I'm moving on is because I want to try something new and that I get shorter trips to work.

Cedric Notz was in February in Finland to present his company Float.
He was best man when Chris O'Neill married Princess Madeleine. He has skied slalom in the Olympics as a representative of Azerbaijan. He visited Finland to offer start-up companies financing.
Funding is often a challenge for start-ups. Cedric Notz and Jannis Koehn, who run the start-up company Float, know that. The difference between Float and many other start-ups is that Float's founders are looking to finance good business ideas, not just to find lenders themselves.
Float launched its idea in Sweden two years ago. The loans the company grants are primarily aimed at so-called SaaS companies.
- We have seen how difficult it is for start-ups to get financing, especially when they have to scale up. That too when they have good ideas. And even if they get financing, the negotiations with possible financiers take time and require effort to the extent that the development of their own company can suffer, says Cedric Notz.

Daniel and Victoria's friends Peter "Foppa" Forsberg and Nicole Nordin part ways as a couple. They ave three children Lennox, Lily, och Diego. They met in 2009 and got engaged in 2010, but they are not married. They have been living in Switzerland.

- I have come to a point where I want to change my life a little, but I have many nice cars left. I was born into a family of car dealers, so it is quite natural for me to collect cars. Some increase in value, but that's not the goal, I have them for nostalgic reasons. They are locked in several different places so I rarely drive them, I walk around and pat them, Aje has told.

Madeleine's friend Sofi Fahrman Engelbert, 44, and her husband Filip Engelbert, 53, are having their second wedding in Venice this weekend.

Fashion journalist Sofi Fahrman and billionaire and entrepreneur Filip Engelbert invite their friends to "life's biggest love party".
The first time the couple got married in December 2021 at Stockholm City Hall. Due to corona the ceremony was small with only their children present.
For their second wedding, Sofi and Filip have chosen Venice. For three days, their families and friends, parts of the celebrity elite and Sweden's society gather. Sofi says in her podcast that she is already married. But then there were a few things left to do, a hen party, love party, a ceremony with bridesmaids and marshals.
Filip Engelbert is one of the founders of Avito. He later sold shares in the company for SEK 1.4 billion, together with partner Jonas Nordlander.
The couple met in 2017 and have son Leo, 1. Sofi has also daughter Lily, and Filip has three children from a previous marriage.

Svensk Damtidning writes that Madeleine will not attend the wedding.
Many of Madeleine's closest girlfriends are of course there, such as Andrea Brodin and Lovisa de Geer. But Madeleine will not be in Italy to celebrate her friend's wedding. Madeleine comments on Sofi Fahrman's picture with her secret Instagram account:

The Royal Family's friend Joakim Génetay, 50, and his wife Shanna have got their first child, a girl named Ava Rose Elizabeth.
Joakim's late father, Tim Génetay, was one of the King's closest friends since the 60s. Joakim's sister Josephine is one of Victoria's closest friends and goddaughter of Queen Silvia, who was very close to Josephine's mother, the late Agneta Génetay.

A close friend of the royal family, industrialist Melker Schörling, passed away this weekend after a period of illness, by his side he had his wife Kerstin and daughters Sofia and Märta.
​The 76-year-old company builder is behind the development of large companies such as Securitas, Hexagon, AAK and Hexpol. Melker Schörling went from two empty hands to creating a fortune of SEK 70 billion.
He was a very good friend of the royal family. Melker and Kerstin Schörling were self-signed guests at the king's and queen's official and private parties. Victoria is a good friend of Sofia Schörling Högberg and Madeleine is a friend of Märta Schörling Andreen.
The death notice came on the same day as the Nobel Party, and the king and queen were forced to hide their grief during the festivities.

Daniel and Victoria's friend Peter "Foppa" Forsberg is one of the six swedish celebrities to sail over the Atlantic Ocean at TV-series "Över Atlanten" (Over the Atlantic), at the program's sixth season.
Foppa posted to his Instagram yesterday, they left to their sail today:
"This is my new home for the next 2-3 weeks. I'm leaving from Gran Canaria tomorrow with my friends, and hopefully we will arrive alive somewhere in the Caribbean at the end of January"
