The translation confused it somewhat.

The new Intendant of the Royal Palaces is Mr R.A.P. (Roger) Maas LL.M MBA.

The new indentant will be responsible for the Royal Palace in Amsterdam (for representation), Noordeinde Palace in The Hague (the official residence) and Huis ten Bosch in The Hague (the private residence). Also Het Oude Loo Castle in Apeldoorn (hunting lodge) as well the privately owned properties on the Royal Domain De Horsten in Wassenaar will be under his eye.

Also the organisation and maintenance of inventories in named properties as well the surrounding parks ressort under the new Indendant. There uses to be a special house for the Intendant of the Royal Palaces, to live with his family, ( this one is on the domain of Soestdijk Palace ) but I do not know if housing near Noordeinde or Huis ten Bosch still is part of the nice additional privileges of this function.

Starting tomorrow, the Deputy General Secretary of the Service of the Royal Household (ir. Bram Gille MPA) will become the new General Secretary. The former General Secretary will be the new Deputy General Secretary (drs. Eric Verwaal). This switch is made because of health reasons (according to Vorsten the (old) General Secretary has long covid, which is why the deputy already deputized in many ways since October last year).

Cook, writer and presenter Yvette van Boven has made a tv programme where she joins the royal kitchens and helps in the preparation of banquets, receptions etc. She got the idea when she was invited to the a lunch in the palace

The programme is called: Oranje van Boven - de keukens van de koning.

She will also be making a recipe from 1879, which was made for Queen Emma.

The programme will air on Avrotros on Npo2 on November 23rd.

Eveline van der Bent, former nanny of the three princesses and later personal assistent of the family and of Pss Amalia , seems to have ceased working for the RF recently. According to RTL the reason for the seemingly sudden departure is unknown.

That's an interesting development at the court. Her departure was apparently confirmed by the RVD.

I suppose there may have been little for her to do, since the three princesses are all living elsewhere & it will still take some time before Amalia will start regular events. Or perhaps she has ambitions of her own of course, after working there for so long it may be time for a change.

Oh wow. I wonder what happened. If. I recall correctly her highest appointment was personal secretary to the King. I thought for sure she was going to make a career of working for the RF and perhaps assume the role of personal secretary to the Princess of Oranje.

After serving three years as nanny to the three princesses, she became personal assistant to queen Máxima in 2009 and of both the new king and queen in 2013. In 2020 she was promoted to the position of 'private secretary', i.e. Amalia's right hand.

So, she served the couple and their daughters for 18 years in various roles; and was one of their most trusted confidants/(personal) advisors.

Who is this lady in the back? I wouldn't be surprised if she was present to support Amalia on her first official solo-event.

Marengo's post in the activity thread seems to answer my question:

She already seems to have more gravitas than her parents combined :).

The princess was accompanied by an aide-de-camp of her father and by her mother's lady-in-waiting from Rotterdam, Anna Magdalena (Annemijn) Crince le Roy-van Munster van Heuven (lady with the blue hat). Appropriately for this visit she used to work for the navy. She is related to the late Jacoba Henriëtta Marianna Agatha van Lawick van Pabst-Doude van Troostwijk a dame du palais for Queen Juliana and a 1st cousin of her paternal grandmother. Relatives from her fathers side of the family used to manage the palace and domain of Het Loo in Apeldoorn. Her husband is a lawyer and the former chairman of the Dutch order of lawyers (The Netherlands Bar). His family is of Huguenot descent and had ties to the former Dutch East Indies, the island of Java specifically, where they worked in the local government.

Among the party were the mayor of Vlissingen (Flushing), the governor of the province of Zeeland, an underminister and an admiral.

Her position does require gravitas, without it some might overstep and believe her not to have any authority. Indeed, it was considered an ancient Roman virtue

Baron Tijo Collot d'Escury, close friend of Willem-Alexander, witness at his wedding and godfather of princess Ariane, decided to step down as chair of the supervisory board of the TU (Technical University) Delft taking effect immediately. In his statement, he stated that he wanted to avoid “any appearance of a conflict of interest” with his partnership at Roland Berger (a large management consultancy firm). This is supposedly related to activities that the TU Delft plans to undertake in Rotterdam (while at the same time large budget cuts are needed - which raised concerns within the university - due to government cuts in the higher education sector as a whole).

Previously the supervisory board has been accused of not taking the accusations regarding social safety for (mostly) female staff seriously - as they kept backing the Board of Directions (until they stepped down in January). Even the Ministry reminded the supervisory board that they needed to take their internal supervisory role seriously which requires sufficient 'distance' between the supervisory board and the board of directors.

His wife is Jkvr. Hermance Hooft Graafland. Via her mother Geertruida Romelia (Romee) de Kanter (The Hague patriciate) she is a granddaughter of
Jkvr. Maria Aletta Rebecca (Mieke) von Mühlen - dame du palais of Queen Juliana. Her first cousin Barbara de Kanter was ina relationship with Prince Constantijn around 1994. At least, that is what the press wrote.

A good decision to leave his position in the university, it seems indeed incompatible with his other work.
