I can´t help but Mary looks strange - don´t know it its the hairdo or what.
Isabella is really a beauty - little Henrik looks french:lol:

I watched the pictuers on ppe - and with this grey line in it it looks as if they were in front of a big camper,

somehow the pictures don´t work this year, a pity

Fred looks really buffed to me. He may have been working out lifting weights etc. His beard looks good on him. I almost didn't recognise Count Jefferson also sporting a beard. Maybe beards are the IN thing in Denmark at the moment.

The beard... meh.

I think Princess Marie and CP Mary are such beautiful women. They could wear paper bags and make them look good! :)

It's a shame that the Greek RF wasn't there too. I love to see Queen Anne Marie, Princess Alexia, and the younger ones.

I don't like Fred's beard, it does not look good on him. Isabella & Christian are such a cuties and Henrik is growing like a weed, too bad Nikolai & Felix were not there.

I agree about the pics not working this year, it looks just like a bunch of people who met on stairs by a chance and someone took pictures of them.

I totally disagree about Frederik´s beard: It looks very handsome and masculine!
Isabella is one of the cutest little princesses I´ve seen - but who he came up with this dreadful skirt for this poor child?!
Nikolai and Felix are currently on a holiday with their mother in Turkey.

I agree with those that said Isabella stole the show, she is a little beauty and has such a mischevious liitle smile. I love her skirt.
Christian has changed so much lately he seems to have grown up overnight.
Nice to see the all family together, I love Mary's dress and Frederik's beard.

And today - July 29 - has been Legoland day! :)

Here are several cute pics of the children. The visited Chief Longears in The Indian
Village, all got a headband with a feather and learned some Indian things :)

I love the pics even if the quality is not the same as the previous years....Isabella is really cute..love the skirt..it is frivolous..I saw a pic when she has this mischievous smile..and I adore Frederick...quite a change but really cute on him...I love this family..Christian seems so grown up now...but a beautiful boy...can't say who they resemble most..whether it's mary or frederick though.

I can imagine being out in a drizzling rain was not much thrill for any of them to have pictures made. I know I would not be thrilled to have pictures made when I would rather be indoors enjoying my family and friends.

I think CP Frederik is an absolute HUNK with a beard :).

Thank you, Iceflower :flowers:

It's been a somewhat rainy day today as you can see. Pic 6 is wonderful, Isabella is clearly howling like an indian. I don't know what you call it in your various languages, here in DK it's called "ugh".
Legoland is located at Billund in central Jutland or about an hour and a half by car and four children from Gråsten.
The Western park, including the Indian (*) village has been around since I was a child myself.
I guess they also tried to wash out gold and no matter how much they find, the "smith" will make sure there is enough for a "gold medallion".
In a few years, Christian will be old enough to take his "drivers test" at the park and be issued a genuine Legoland drivers licence. - But he can flunk the test, if he ignores the red light!

DK lesson:
It's a bit confusing with native American Indians and asian Indians. In Danish, as well as in German, there is a clear distinction between them.
Native Americans = Indianere.
Indians = Indere.
You English speakers really need to look into this matter...:p

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #30, 2010.
Frederik med sommerskæg - Frederik with summer-beard.
Written by Anne Johannesen.

The photo session took place just after the BB deadline, but fortunately Frederik went riding in the forenoon.
Mary didn't join him because she was preoccupied with the children who played in the park.
Anyway escorted by profesional private first class, Allan Sonne (*) and a PET officer on bicycle Frederik went for a ride through the park.
And as the attentive among you may have noticed, Frederik is sporting a beard. And Anne Johannsen is absolutely right when she observes in one of the captions: "....Now it will be interesting to see whether Mary will allow him to keep the new summer-beard". - As every married man knows, that decision is not up to him...

- I actually like his beard. He looks more mature.

(*) The purpose of the trooper, from the Guards Hussars, is not to protect Frederik. That's the job of PET. No, the trooper is there to have a calming effect on Frederik's horse.
Partly to have someone around whom the horse know, partly to have another horse around, which also has a calming effect, but also to help control Frederik's horse should it become nervous. He is after all not riding the horse every day.

Could you imagine Marie-Chantal participating to this holidays ?

As much as I love pictures of our RF, can't this family ever just go to legoland and not be hounded? or is this one of thier obligations?

Next fall Legoland will be opening a new park about 1 1/2 hours from my house, (Winter Haven Fl)wouldn't it be great if the Prince and Princess made it an Official opening? I know, its pretty unlikely!!

I enjoyed all of the pictures, a pity they had no luck with the weather. But it's the same here, it's raining all day long. ;)

Here in the States- and I can't answer for our neighbors to the North- they are either called Native Americans or Indigenous Natives. Very politically incorrect these days to say Indians. It is confusing with the two names. However, they do not look anything alike:)

Here in the United States, our native Indians are now called Native Americans. It is politically incorrect to call them Indians. I don't know what they are called by our neighbors to the North. Ouf neighbors to the South have a few Native tribes too. It is clear on looking at the two Indians, however, that they don't resemble each other in the slightest. And each Native American tribe has it's own physical characteristics.

Photo gallery from Hello!:
Danish royals holiday photocall

Good to see such a large gathering this year. The kids looked like they had a great time at LegoLand as well, although at one point it looked like Isabella wasn't too impressed with her Indian headband.

I was of course provoking slightly.

The world would be a so much simpler place to live, if we didn't have such thing as political correctness....:bang:
To me the word "indianere" simply encompass all native peoples of the Americas, from the decendants of the Incas to the Lakota and they are indeed very different.
Just like Europeans or Africans.
When I hear the word Americans I think of citizens of USA, not Canadians, not South Americans, nor Latin Americans.
For that matter, I don't even know what the native peoples of South America call themselves as a whole. If anything. Can someone enlighten me?
So, what for some is politically incorrect can for others be just an old neutral term.

Princess Isabella and Prince Christian watched the guarding change
at Grasten Palace today, July 30, 2010. Here are the first pics of a
little clown named Isabella ;)

He doesn't have to wait, he could marry her tommorow if he wanted.

I was wondering any photos of inside the palace I would love to see how are the rooms inside
