I suppose he is regarded as such. According to the newspaper article about the funeral, that I have posted, Pierre attended it with Beatrice, her sisters and their husbands.

There is a little information about italian aristocracy of our days.
I don't exactly know where to post it, but I came across instagram of an " apparently" italian noble ( judging his surname and prefix " di") Jordan di Lungarini.
I googled, but I haven't found any concrete information.
Could it happen that he has noble roots?

The prefix "di" or "de" before a surname per se doesn't mean that the family is noble.
There was a family from Sicily (IIRC) that has/had among its titles that of Marquess of Lungarini, but I don't know anything about the genealogy of that family, whether it is stille extant or not and who it's members are.

"di" means "son (daughter) of"
Di Gregorio (son of Gregory)
Di Bernardo (son of Bernhard)
Di Giovanni (son of John)
Di Nardo (son of Leonard)
Di Ruggiero (son of Roger)
For me Di Lungarini means: son of Hungarians (del ungharesi) in the course of times abbreviated to Di Lungarini.

Thank you for detailed explanation.
So maybe this Instagram Lungarini just uses an apparent "di" for noble reasons, if that's his real surname of couse.

Well "di" does not necessarily indicate nobility. Just a grab of Italian noble surnames: Notarbartolo, d'Ondes, Paternò Castello, Aldobrandini, Colonna, Lucchesi Palli, Rospigliosi, Borghese, Ruspoli, Chigi, Torlonia, Pallavicini, etc. All very blueblooded, without "di"...

For Countess Paola it's a debut as a grandma, whereas the Count of Arona has eight more grandchildren.

They are Pierre's cousins, but they will probably call him "uncle" when they grow older, for the reason of a generation's age difference.

Jacques will become one day the ruler. I do not think that he will grow up calling his cousin "uncle"

A form "Serene Highness" is now used only in contact with subjects or officials. In their own family circle royals also use words "uncle, "aunt" while talking with a much older relative, like in a "normal" family.

Don Barnabò Visconti di Modrone, Duke of Grazzano Visconti, Count of Lonate Pozzolo, passed away on 12 June 2015, aged 85.
He was born on 11 march 1930, the eldest son of Don Luigi Visconti di Modrone (who in 1942 succeeded as Duke of Grazzano Visconti) and of his first wife, née Countess Maddalena Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga.
He marrie three times: firstly to Luciana (of the Marquesses) Avati; secondly to Marta Nistri Ranelletti; thirdly to Francesca Scarsini. He had a daughter and a son, Violante and Gian Galeazzo, by his first wife and two daughters, Ilaria and Valentina, by his second wife.
He is survived by his four children, their spouses and ten grandchildren.

Thanks, that was an interesting read, the necrologies in the Corriere della Sera. Why is the late Barnabò more referred with his title Visconti di Modrone than with (on first sight) the more senior title Duca di Grazzano Visconti?

Isn't Visconti di Modrone his surname while Duca di Grazzano Visconti is his title?

Yes, Visconti di Modrone is indeed the surname and Duca di Grazzano Visconti is the title (which is - besides - not officially recognized in Italy, like all noble titles in general).

I've been reading about the Ruspoli family quite a bit recently (Dado Ruspoli and his wives and children)... I was stunned to find out that his last wife was 40 years his junior! Is there any info about her on the internet, because I'm not finding any except that she was a french model?
Also, one of Dado's sons was married to Olivia Wilde which is quite funny tome (in a good way)
