What is the deal with the pants. First there was Frederik, then Laurent, I think Felipe had them as well, and now Willem-Alexander. Do you think that these men just trade the same pair of pants with one another?
Between W-A and Maxima, I think that this picture is a candidate for the Most Terrible thread!

Can't say that dress does Maxima any favors either. I'm sure people on this thread will disagree, but the more I see of the way she dresses, the less I like it.

I have yet not seen Philippe and Haakon in red pants, maybe they will be next:p
As for Maximas style, I have not been impressed lately, sure she always looks stunning whenever there is a party, a wedding or whatever, but for her daily engagements there has IMO not been much to be excited about.
Also I would like to see her reestablish contact with the person who did her hair and make-up during Haakon and MM wedding in Norway, that is IMO the best she has ever looked, lately there has been a little to much orange blush...

That dress is terrible!, and with a scarf, men.... After all she is lucky that she has a husband with those pants, so that is less the center of picture...

Jaime had them as well  I would LOVE to see a pic of that one. Constantijn as well. I have never seen him wearing them either.

It's too bad we can't see the rest of this outfit, from the top it looks quite nice. She needs to do something about her hair though...it looks yellow in the wrong lights, not attractive at all. I had heard that Maxima actually has dark hair color, I wish she would go back to the natural color as I think she would look quite beautiful with darker hair. Besides her hair starting to look so processed with all the fly away strands and what not since she choses to leave it down and straight so often. It has a somewhat straw like effect (Much like Princess Madeline of Sweden's hair lately!)

I found some pictures of the outfit in full, and I have to say I like it! It's simple and yest very beautiful, I still wish she'd do something more with her hair though...
In some of the photos she looks rather washed out, but I think that could be more the lights then anything else? Has she worn white before and looked washed out?

Maybe they were having an "off" day :) I sorta like her dress and I saw Ari Behn wearing a pair of pants that are a lot worse! :) Anyway, they look happy and comfortable, and that's what matters the most :)

The suit is very nice and I like the brooch in the middle. My only complaint is her hair, I think her hair could have looked alot better.
PS Larzen,do you see Maxima's shiny nylons?
