Well we saw HM in a whole new spring/summer wardrobe lets hope HRH is equally as perfect as her mother in law.

I hope so. I am rather tired of the dark colors she wore during the winter.

Im sure shell do just fine (they both will) Im optimistic :)

I hope security is really good. But, I dont think Charles would be that big of a target. Yes he is the future Supreme Governer of the Church of England and a Prince of the UK but he has a great understanding of Islam and isnt afraid of it and embraces it and peace. He doesnt stand out as an enemy but who knows what goes through a terroists head.

I'm sure Camilla will get some great jewels from the rulers of Saudi Arabia! :)

But will she wear the gifts/jewels in public? I vaguely remember reading something about really expensive gifts and the RF not doing that.

Does anyone know anything about this?

It would be an insult to one's hosts to refuse a gift that is meant to honour a Royal visit. There is generally an exchange of gifts on such occasions, and the Saudis have been known to be very generous. If Camilla receives a gift of jewels it may be some time before we see her wearing them. In any case, unless the presentation was made public we could only guess the provenance of any new jewels: they could be "from the vaults", a gift from Charles, or a gift from a another Royal.

The British Royal Family, with rare exceptions, do not accept expensive gifts from members of the public.

I am sure you know that it is not the first time Prince Charles visit saudi arabia so I don't understand why you think he will be target , every month there are western leaders visit Saudi arabia for example before two weeks the president of France had a state visit , I think saudia arabia have good security and people hospitable :)

I am sure that the level of security will be well organised and that no attacks will be held against him. After all he is the heir to the most popular Monarchy in the world.

TRH Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles, Prince of Wales attend an evening reception on the first day of their 12 day official tour visiting Egypt, Saudia Arabia and India, on March 20, 2006 in Cairo, Egypt. The visits provide an opportunity to support the UK's international contribution and profile, with key themes to promote better understanding and tolerance between faiths, supporting environmental and conservation intiatives, and encouraging sustainable employment and training opportunities for young people. This is the Royal couple's second joint overseas tour, and is the first time Charles has visited Egypt since March 1995.

Prince Charles visits with Prince Karim Agha Khan (L), the leader of the Ismaeli Muslim community, Al-Azhar park in Cairo 20 March 2006, as Cairo's most renowned Islamic institution, Al-Azhar, prepares to award an honorary degree to the heir to the British throne. The trip is the second Charles and his second wife, known officially as the Duchess of Cornwall, have made since their marriage in April 2005, having visited the United States in November.

Shows how much attention I pay. I thought it was a suit lol! Well anyway the coat/dress thingy looks nice!

The dress is ok, but not my favourite. The color let her look some older. With another color, maybe marine and white it would look prettier. But this shoes are very cool!

I love the dress (especially the neckline, which is very nice), hate the shoes (I'm kind of allergic to that kind of shoes). Charles looks good too! Seems like a nice temperature over there. Oh, I long for spring/summer! :)

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, tour the Egyptian museum in Cairo, 20 March 2006. The royal couple arrived Monday night in Cairo, kicking off a two-week tour of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and India meant to promote tolerance between civilizations. The heir to Britain's throne is due to give a speech and receive an honorary doctorate Tuesday from Al-Azhar university, one of the most renowned institutions in Sunni Islam, but his visit there has provoked protest from some faculty.

I love the necklace, I love the shoes but I don't think I am a fan of the dress. That really does make Camilla look older.
Prince Charles looks great!

I am not feeling the dress. I don't think it does anything for her figure (the cut nor the pattern). The shoes, however, are too die for. LOVE THEM!

Will there be three state banquets on this royal tour. Should we expect to see Camilla wear tiaras three times on this tour? I would love to see Camilla in the Delhi Durbar and sari that she got as a wedding present in India.
